Jing Yiran took the struggling Shangguan Ning into his arms, and held on to her tightly. "Aha, so punctual!" he said to Yichen, mockingly.

"Have you forgotten your sweet little American lover after you met this beauty here? Haven't you been missing her so much…?"

Before he was able to finish his words, Jing Yichen punched his face with such speed and grit that Jing Yiran couldn't even defend himself.

Jing Yiran shrieked in pain. He involuntarily released Shangguan Ning from his hold, and charged towards Jing Yichen, with a fist.

Jing Yichen had already anticipated this move. After all, Jing Yichen had been in many street fights and knew the art of self defence. He was flexible and well prepared.
