Find my mommy

Lin Ye felt warmth surrounding her and in a moment was lost on what to do.

Chen Xi's hands tightened around her making it hard for her to breathe. Other than that one time in the hospital, Lin Ye had never been this close to a man.

She wanted to push him away but she heard him say that name once more, "Hua"

Was his wife called Hua?

Lin Ye gently pulled away from him. Chen Xi's eyes were red as he apologized, "I am truly sorry. I must have scared you."

Lin Ye shook her head and asked something that had been on her mind, "Your wife's name is Hua? That is a nice name."

Chen Xi froze. He waited a few seconds before speaking, "Yes. She never told me her second name."

He looked at her intently but Lin Ye simply smiled, 'Then I wish for you to find her soon. Alright, I have work tomorrow so I will take my leave now. Take care of yourself."

Lin Ye was not angry anymore. Chen Xi may be acting from love sickness so she felt a bit sorry for him. She felt as if he was trapped and wished he could find his wife soon so that this situation won't happen to another woman.

Chen Xi felt lost for a moment. He wanted to stop her but Lin Ye had already gone far away. He stared at the money in his hands and felt a dull ache.

He did not know how to proceed.

Feng An walked from the darkness and reported something to him, "Sir, the young master has come."

Chen Xi looked at him, "What?"

A black sedan approached and stopped in front of Chen Xi who had returned to his godly like demeanour. He got in and the car sped away with a whoosh!

He had rented a place in Blue gardens, one of the most prestigious places in the capital and once he entered the house, a hostile face greeted him.

Chen Xiao Ye, his son looked at him with fierce eyes. Chen Xi pretended that he did not know the meaning behind that look.

Chen Xi wondered, this son of his did not look anything like him but a whole lot like his mother. He was the one he had grown up with but not even once did they see eye to eye.

Just as he expected, Chen Xiao Ye spoke with a voice more hostile than his face, "Did you find my mommy?"

Chen Xi did not answer him. He instead went and sat down then folded his legs together. He then asked with some authority, "How did you come here?"

This was a different universe from the one they lived in and coming in and out was not easy. He had left this son of his under his mens care but who knew that he would find his way here?

Chen Xi knew that with his son's abilities he would not be able to sit still but even then he was still surprised that he found his way here.

Chen Xiao Ye gritted his teeth in anger, "Did you find my mommy or what?"

His tone was rough but he still remembered to be a little bit respectful. This was his father after all.

chen Xi denied, "Call me father first and I will tell you where she is."

Chen Xiao Ye had on a shocked expression.

His face was adorable to the extreme. He had on white, milky cheeks which were plump and he was clean. That face of his looked so much like Lin Ye that Chen Xi marvelled.

When Lin Ye had disappeared back then, she had left him with their one year old son who was Chen Xiao Ye.

The child looked at his father and went, "Are you telling me or not?"

The father-son duo looked at each other. Not a single one of them wanted to yield. Feng An and the rest of the men walked out slowly to give them space because they knew what would happen next. Only the two were left in the room.

Chen Xi still insisted, "Call me father first."

Not even once had his son addressed him as father. He would be lying if he said he did not want to hear those words.

Chen Xiao Ye stared at him and said, "You won't? Okay, I will find mommy on my own!"
