20. The Forgotten Tattoo

Yuki smiled as he looked at his status board. The new range of skills and the level up of previous skills made him satisfied. And all of this was before the day was over.

He had never felt so proud of himself. Well, apart from when he got his first girlfriend.

He took off his shirt as he reached for his gym clothes, unaware of the effect it would have on his fellow classmates.

Since a lot of people were already looking at Yuki, they surely didn't miss the scene when he took off his top.

Silence spread as more people turned to look at Yuki, shocked by what they were seeing.

Yuki could feel their stares and turned to meet them. Almost half of the people in the changing room were looking at him at that moment. He saw looks of shock, awe, fear, confusion, and others mixed into their faces.

Yuki was somewhat overwhelmed when he noticed looks. He couldn't figure out why they were looking at him like that.

"Is there something wrong?" Yuki asked.

"Is that a real tattoo?" someone asked.

"Tattoo?" Yuki was confused before a look of realisation came onto his face.

He had forgotten that he had a tattoo! (A\N: I had forgotten! My bad.)

Even though his expression hadn't changed much on the outside, his emotions were in turmoil.

Although the younger generation wasn't as scared of people with tattoos compared to the older generation, it could still lead to horrible misunderstandings.

Yuki couldn't think of an excuse. Too many people had already seen the tattoos on his back. Although he could claim they were fake, how many of the people here would believe him. They would still spread rumors despite it.

Think to this point, Yuki figured it was better to just admit it.

"Yes, it is real." Yuki said

"No way!"

"Are you serious!?"

"Why'd you get it?"

"Can I feel it?"

Many boys burst into an exclamation as a few approached Yuki to get a closer look at his tattoo.

Yuki answered some of their questions as he tried to downplay his tattoo as much as possible.

As for why he got it...

"I thought it would make me cooler."

That excuse made a lot of them speechless. Still, a few couldn't help but feel that the tattoo did make Yuki seem a little manlier.

'Should I get one?' This thought came into the minds of a lot of them but left just as quickly. They knew that their parents would probably kill them if they got tattoos.

"Alright guys, let's get going." Shu said when he noticed the situation.

The boys quickly changed as they headed down to the field. They still murmured about Yuki as they walked, occasionally pointing in his direction as they walked.

Yuki sighed as he walked. He knew this would influence his schooling career.

"Hey Yuki! Over here!"

Yuki saw Raku calling out to him and approached him.

"Can't believe you got a tattoo, dude." Raku said as they walked.

"It was a mistake." Yuki said, his expression conveying regret. He didn't think he would expose it so easily.

"Still, it looks a lot like a gang tattoo." Raku had a thoughtful expression on his face.

"And how would you know what a gang tattoo looks like?" Yuki asked, even though he know the answer.

"Ah, well you know, from the internet." Raku nervously answered.

"I see." Yuki dropped the topic as they got to the field. He could see that most of the girls were there.

"Alright, gather around everyone." Kuroma-sensei said as he waited for all the students to arrive.

"We'll start with a warm-up lap around the field. So get going." He said.

"The students groan as they start going into a mini jog. The ones ahead of the pack were Yuki and Chitoge.

Chitoge was surprised as she turned to Yuki. Yuki looked like he wasn't built to do any exercise.

Yuki looked at Chitoge and smiled. He wasn't surprised by her ability to keep up at all. The athletic feats she had performed throughout the show were a testament to her physical abilities.

He flashed a cheeky grin to her as he picked up the pace.

_____________

Writing this chapter reminded me of the original aim of the story. I was going to have the MC travel to different anime worlds and gain abilities along the way. It's also why I gave him such combat orientated items in the beginning of the story. i was wandering if you guys would like to see that play out later on or if i should keep on going with what we have. Also, sorry for some inconsistencies in the story. And this isn't a harem. Let me know if you find anymore. Anyways, thanks for reading.
