Chapter 35 "Confession "
Jordan threw his phone in anger, thankfully it didn't reach the floor and scattered, it hit on the headboard of the his bed and made a loud sound, he ran his fingers through his hairs out of frustration and gritted his teeth, the boiling point of his anger was higher, "I'm sorry Tessa... very sorry my love" he mumbled and dropped himself on his bed. Cold tears fell off his cheeks, first the first time he was crying after three years ago. Jordan Brighton shed tears for Tessa. it pained him how Tessa would be thinking about him right now, she trusted him and he just broke that trust, all the promises he made to her would seem like a lie to her now. His hatred towards Lara only increased ten times stronger....♡
The morning lights striked up on her sad face, making her flinch , she forgot to pull down the curtains last night out of anger and all the hurtful emotions she had, she reached the floor and walked to open the door, to her surprise Sarah and Milly slept by the door, the two never left since yesterday when they heard her screams. They even slept on the floor when there were spare rooms that they could've used for the night, how could they leave her alone whe she was screaming and crying like a mad girl in there. She started to shed tears again, "What have you done you fool" she whispered to herself and went down to her knees, she caressed their worried sleeping faces, the two opened their eyes and the first thing they did was to pull her in for a tight hug, they were grateful that she was okay and that she didn't hurt herself out if anger or whatever itnis that happened to her, she broke into tears in thier embrace, she cried loudly, the two patted her back their eyes became moisty as well, "Don't you ever lock yourself again " said Milly sobbing along, "Yes don't you dare to get us this worried again " came a cracking voice from Sarah, she nodded not breaking thier hug , "I'm sorry... you two should never sleep here again " the trio took thier time to let their worries out.. Tessa told them everything afterwards, there was no reason to lie about it as everything clearly took place before her eyes, "What! who the fuck is that bitch? I should meet with her!" announced Sarah his face filled with rage , instead of judging Jordan, she went straight and insulted the girl, it is true to say that... when you have someone that you hate, there's no one who can hate them even more than you do like your best friends. .....♡
"What did Jordan say about it?" asked Milly, Tessa shook her head "I don't want to listen to that traitor's lies no more" , Milly shook her head looking at her lazily "Like always my dear dumb sister " , the two glared at her , her tongue was something else, it never think twice before spitting out words, "Hey Milly watch out with your language, your sister is heartbroken here" said Sarah, Milly sighed "You too are dumb just like her" she said shooking her head with disappointments. "What is it that you want to say Milly?" asked Tessa with a frown settled on her face, how could her sister make fun of her in such dire situation unless she got something to say. "Tess! my dear ...I know that you are hurt, even I get hurt seeing you in such foul attitude, but then you should've at least listen to what he has to say, let him explain to you about it, that's when you'll get to decide whether to kiss him or rip his lying mouth, I just thought that you deserve an explanation at least my DD sister, more than sulking in your bedroom out of clue" , the two looked at each other surprised, they kept wondering how would Milly turn out to be once she is an adult, she was so old for her age. Shortly a doorbell rang catching thier attention, "I'll go get it" said Milly climbing downstairs.....♡
Sarah got up with Tessa and walked inside their room, "Who is it!?" she yelled at the impatient person that was ringing the bell non - stop , her eyes narrowed to see Jordan at the door, and what surprised her even more was his expression, he looked a lot more worse than a dead corpse, he had black circles around his eyes, so it wasn't only her dumb sister that was hurting here even this tycoon, she wondered how much he must love her sister, it's all over his face, "How dare you make my sister cry all night?" she said and kicked his knee with her feet to have him stagger back a bit but he didn't flinch, "Can I please meet with her? please Milly " his brought his palms forward pleading , Milly took a deep breathe "Don't hurt her, she has a baby's heart, she can't handle it alone, she have gone through a lot you should be shameless enough and keep her happy, she is upstairs " she said and settled the scores as a little sister, Jordan became silence because whatever this young girl is telling him was true, she is easy to break because she already broken so much before, and the day she decided to be with her , he vowed to keep her happy no matter what , but he just failed her midway. "I'm sorry " he muttered in a low tone, Milly nodded and moved aside to let him in, Jordan climbed upstairs to find Sarah patting Tessa's back, she was laying on a bed covered with a bed sheet , facing the window so she couldn't see who was behind her, Sarah got up once she saw Jordan, "I'll get you some water " Tessa nodded, on her way out she shoot a glare at Jordan, Jordan walked inside and sit to where Sarah had sit, and patted her back, the moment his hands touched her back , she noticed it was him, her breath hitched and heart beats ran faster , angers veiled on her face like never before, "How dare you come to my house, Is there anything you forgot from me?" she said with anger in her voice , not turning to face him, Jordan continued to pat her back, it was annoying her and suddenly sat up facing him, once they faced each other, they could both see the pain emitting in their eyes, more tears fell of her cheeks , "Why Jordan! you cheater! " she hit him with a pillow, Jordan bit his lips holding himself from crying until his blood formed in her lower lip, Tessa's eyes widened and her heart was in pain to see him getting hurt, he pulled her first a hug, she struggled to push him away but he didn't let her go, his grip on her tightened instead, "I am sorry, I'm sorry that you had to cry because of me, I'm sorry that I lied to you, I'm sorry for everything my live, I'm ready to explain everything to you, but I'm not willing to let you go, I can't loose you too " he shook his head, Tessa cried out loudly in his arms, "You cheater, you lied to me , you...." she cried even more, he wished she could stop crying because he can't take it anymore, it's too painful and all because of a stupid someone's fault, he wished to kill the one that made her lover she a pool of tears. Tessa pulled away once she calmed down, she was ready to listen to whatever it is that he wanted to say to her....♡
Jordan took a deep breathe before chanting about the evil Lara , "We were engaged, our families were business partners, and so our grandparents decided to marry us off so our union could become even more stable nd stronger, I truly loved her but that love was flipped to a hatred, one day I received a text form an unknown number, I followed the instructions on the text, I wanted didn't believe it so I wanted to see it with my own eyes, i reached to the address sent only to find Lara fucking with her ex, they were naked and so happy with what they were doing, i tried to break our engagement but she blackmailed me, that if i ever tell our parents about her affairs then she we will loose everything including my family's shares, I was scared and stupid even though I was broken I chose to stay silence about it, but I broke up with her on the very same day I found her cheating in me at the hotel, she had gone to the US with her lover for almost three years now, and now I wonder why she is back to ruin my life, whatever it is that is planning onto I won't let it happen, I won't let her take your place in my heart, I'm sorry for not telling you sooner about it " he stopped talking and looked at her, she was quite even after hearing his story, he wasn't going to force her to believe him but it was the truth, the truth that even his own family isn't aware of, and the other truth was that he really loves her so much that he can't imagine his life without her besides him, and he won't give up on her because he knows that she loves him equally.....♡
Jordan got up and turned to leave but before that, he held her palm and kissed it , his lips stayed longer in her palm until his tears fell on her palm ,making her her gasp, "I love you Tessa, only you, you own my heart right now and not Lara, she was my past, but you are my future, I just hope you could trust me" he let go of her palm and walked out, his heart was grieving in pain for remembering his past with Lara, he couldn't stop his tears anymore and just let them fall maybe then he would find some peace, he acame to tell her the truth and he successfully did, now he leave it all to her to decide, whether to let him go or mend his broken heart and he would do the same her heart, She might be able to break up with him but he would never let her go never, and not even Lara could separate them if Tessa decides to put her trust on him again...♡
