Chapter 26 "A date"
Jordan's limo was parked outside the company's entrance at afternoon waiting for someone. "Why are you taking so long? we've got a free time today you should be glad " texted Jordan with irritation from waiting, "Just a minute, I'm coming down" she texted back , Jordan kept the phone back to his pocket displeased, they planned a short date whenever they had a free time, but Tessa is delaying it, who knows when his phone would ring up for an urgent meeting. Tessa got out of the building and walked straight to the limo that was ahead of her, she opened the door and hoped in, only to find her boyfriend pissed off, she was amused by it strangely, she couldn't believe her eyes to be able to witness the machine is actually angry at such petty issues. The limo ride off , he was so quiet that she couldn't take it anymore and gave in "Okay I'm sorry " she turned her eyes to him "What for?" she held in a laugh , Jordan was playing the hard to get game with her , she pulled his face making him face her and kisses his cheeks, before returning to her normal posture as if nothing happened....♡
It was a quick kiss that he didn't expect, he felt like he just got defeated, a smile crept oh his fac turning to the window and let out a silence sigh. She didn't have to look at him to know how much happy he was right now, she could feel him and that eased her worries, she was indeed a shy girl but she couldn't afford a fight on thier first date after such many years. The limo stopped at a cinema house, "I'll call you to pick us up once were done" stated Jordan to Pharrell before they stepped out off the car, she wasn't surprised but impressed by her boyfriends moves , when he said they were going in a date she didn't expect it to be a formal date since he was a busy person. Tessa escorted the limo with her eyes "Do you want me to call them to take you back?" he teased her, she quickly walked towards him, he took out two face mask and handed one to Tessa, "Wear it , you don't wanna turn our date into a fan meeting " it was the only possible way to keep them enjoy thier date at an open public area as such, she was dating the nation's sweetheart, so ofcourse she have to get used to this .....♡
They wore thier face mask before entering the cinema house, he even booked the tickets already for a certain movie, they walked to get some popcorn and juice before they made thier way to thier cinema hall, and hopefully the movie haven't started yet, once they walked in people stared at them with questions , they were wondering who were these intimidating physiques that covered thier faces, Jordan didn't mind about the eyes on them he held his girlfriend's hand instead and chose a good spot to seat, he could reserve the whole cinema hall for the two of them but Tessa told him that she wants a normal date and for them to do normal things like how normal couples do, he felt like choking at how the word normal kept ringing in his head, he never did anything normally, never before.... In a short while the lights went off and the movie started, it was Titanic, she moved her hands to pick up a popcorn, her hand grazed into his and the two looked at each other for couple of seconds, Jordan pulled her mask down and leaned closer to her face and whispered "Were you going to eat with your mask on?" he stole a kiss on her lips and returned to his normal pose, Tessa smiled slightly, he just returned the kiss that she gave him in the car , they were even now, she could see him smile too even though he had his mask on, she could see his eyes getting smaller.....♡
The movie kept going until when the lovebirds had to part their ways in that cold sea where the boat was sinking, Jordan turned to her after hearing some sobs, she was so red crying , he shook his head and took out a handkerchief and turned her face to him "Shhh! it's just a movie " he said in slow tone so as to not disturb other people in the hall, he wiped her tears gently and leaned closer and made her head lay on his shoulder, he intertwined his hand with hers, she was blushing so hard this whole time, she felt like the only girlfriend in the cinema hall. The movie ended and the lights were back on, the two walked out of the hall, Tessa went to the washroom to wash her moisty face , she came out she was welcomed by a warm hug, her eyes widened "I can't that you actually cried for a movie, I'll never take you to cinema again, I can't afford to see tears my love , they are tearing me too" he confessed patting her back, she wasn't a shirt girl but she felt like she was in a coconut shell, his body covered her whole, her cheeks became red "No, you shouldn't pick a romantic movie instead, they always end up into tears" she said pulling away from him to out on her mask , she held her hand as they made thier way outside, "Are you implying that I shouldn't be romantic, because I'll see you in tears?" he teased her, Tessa was never gonna get used to his behaviour of twisting words to his advantage, "That's so unreasonable " she uttered, ince they were outside the cinema house , she was expecting to see thier limo which probably would be picking them up but to her surprise Jordan stopped a taxi , she wondered what was going on in his mind right now, where was he taking her.....♡
