50 Epilogue : 5 Years Later

"Yeobo, could you please take the brownies out of the oven?", I asked from the living room

"Yes", he answered from the kitchen

"Kyungdae~aah, you're ready now", I said as I lifted the chubby 10-month-old baby into my arms

"Is everything ready?", I asked Yoongi while walking towards the kitchen

"Yeah. I Just grilling galbi", he replied while stirring a large pot of sundubu jjigae

"Pappa paaa", Kyungdae's voice babbles

"Huh? Did you call appa? Appa, Kyungdae is looking for you ...", I said walking over to Yoongi while holding my baby

"Kyungdae~aah, have you taken a shower? Come on, let's kiss appa... good boy...", Yoongi said giving a small kiss on our baby's chubby cheeks

"What time will they come?", I asked

"In a minute I guess...", Yoongi answered while glancing at his watch

" I'll tidy up the table then," I said as I carried the baby to the backyard

"You will accompany oemma to set the table, okay?", I said as I sat my baby in his highchair

Tonight we will have dinner together with the other BTS members. This dinner is a monthly activity that we usually do to maintain communication during each other's busy lives.

It's been a long time since Yoongi introduced me as his wife to his friends. And since then our friendship has grown stronger.

"Food is ready, I'll change my clothes", Yoongi said from the back door

"Ne", I answered

I returned to set the plates and cutlery on the large wooden table in the backyard. Behind me, the sunset between the skyscrapers of Seoul, leaving a magnificent reddish-orange color sky.

"Done", I mumbled while placing the wine glasses between the plates earlier

I turned my face towards Kyungdae who was biting his maracas toy.

I chuckled and sat in front of him, "Aniya... are you hungry, dear?", I asked as I took the toy away from his mouth

Kyungdae is our son's name, which is a combination of the words Kyung and Dae. Kyung itself is a name given from the Min family tree because he is a descendant of the 32nd generation of the clan. While Dae has the meaning of glory or prosperity.

Yoongi really loves him. Just like his father, Kyungdae's hobby is sleeping. Ever since Kyungdae was born, Yoongi can't wait to teach him to play the piano and guitar. As you can see, almost all Kyungdae toys are mini musical instruments specifically for babies.

At first, I never imagined that Yoongi would act like that because he is a man who doesn't easily express his feelings about things. Therefore, I was really surprised when I saw the affection that Yoongi showed for our baby.

"I'm ready. Aigooo, do you want appa to carry you?", said Yoongi who had changed clothes and immediately approached Kyungdae who reached out his little hand to Yoongi

"Gomawo Sobi, sorry to bother you," Yoongi said while kissing my forehead

"Gwaenchana, they are also my friends", I replied hugging his waist

"Will Hobi Oppa come?", I asked again

"Ne. He said he'd be late but he'll still come," Yoongi replied while patting Kyungdae who was on his lap

"How do you feel about the concert next month, yeobo?", I asked while looking at him

"I'm very excited, I can't wait to see ARMY again soon. Anyway, Park Eunae, Jin Hyung's wife, is planning to come with us during the tour. I was thinking maybe you guys can also come with us?", Yoongi asked while holding my hand

"Huh? Come with you? But it will take months, yeobo. I can't leave Sofisticated, we plan to open a new shop soon. Besides, I'm afraid Kyungdae will be in trouble if he has to always move from one city to another", I said with regret

"Arasso. I understand, it's just that I will miss you so much ...", Yoongi said while stroking the back of my hand and hugging Kyungdae tighter

"Maybe we will visit you later, right Kyungdae~aah?", I said smiling at my baby

"Neee...", answered Yoongi imitating a child's voice, pretending that Kyungdae was the one who spoke

Well, a lot has happened to BTS's life and career since the outbreak of the Covid 19 virus in early 2020. They had to cancel their tours and other activities. However, their success skyrocketed even more with the release of several of their English songs. They even got nominated for a Grammy Awards in 2021 even though they failed to bring home the trophy.

During the pandemic, BTS released 2 new albums, BE and Butter, which contained songs full of comfort for ARMY in those difficult times. And yes, their popularity continues to grow, they have won many awards both in Korea and internationally.

In early 2022, they finally won the Grammy Awards for the Pop Duo category with the song Butter. Everything that Yoongi dreams of slowly they can achieve. At that time, Yoongi even burst into tears when he returned to my arms after the awards ceremony ended. He said it felt happy and scary at the same time.

Then a few months after winning at the Grammys, they decided to go on hiatus and served in military service. Many Army was surprised by their decision but many were also supportive.

They served 18 months of military service, from March 2022 to August 2023. And one month after they come back, they released their new album as a gift to the Army. Then in November of the same year, Yoongi finally decided to publish our marriage, exactly 5 years after our wedding.

As expected, we received a lot of responses, like supports, hatred to death threats. Even so, Yoongi remained firm with our marriage. At that time we just found out about my pregnancy and the public rejection made my health worsened.

But thanks to the continued support from the members, management, family, and also the Army, Yoongi and I were finally able to rise from adversity. And yes, after a while the public finally supports our marriage, when they saw that we live our lives happily and love each other.

A few months before my delivery, Yoongi decided to take a hiatus for almost half a year from BTS activities, he focused on taking care of me and our baby. As well as producing music for several new artists.

The other members are also busy with their activities. After 11 years of joining BTS, Jin finally tried what he dreamed of, becoming an actor. He became the second lead actor in a famous sitcom drama. After that, he began to develop his acting by playing films and other dramas. He met the woman who became his wife while starring in one of these dramas.

Rm, the BTS leader chose to take part into the world of art. His love of art made him join the Korean Art Association. He became a bridge for Korean artists to be able to introduce their works to the international world.

Jhope, the rapper and main dancer of BTS, chose to work by releasing his latest mixtape. All the songs on his mixtape were a huge success. He is also one of the judges as well as a permanent mentor in a talent show organized by Hybe.

Jimin released his solo album and Yoongi helped him in the production process. And yes, as we all know, his voice was amazing and everyone loved him. His solo album had stayed on the Melon chart for almost 2 months.

Then V, just like Jhope, also released his second mixtape. The songs are dominated by jazz which matches the color of his voice. In addition, he has also appeared in several famous reality shows in Korea. Even earlier this year he had a regular television show with Wooga Squad.

And lastly, there is JK, I think he is the most talented person I've ever met (just like my husband's assessment of him). He has many projects with famous singers, both Korean singers, and American singers. The most famous is his duet song with IU. And he is also the director for Jimin's MV.

Just a few months ago BTS finally released their newest album, the response they received was amazing. You know, ARMY is the largest fanbase in the world, so when they found out BTS was back they immediately gave Bangtan a lot of support and love.

And yes, starting next month BTS will start their tour to various countries in Asia, America, Europe, and Africa. I remember, when Yoongi first showed me his tour schedule a few weeks ago, I was almost speechless with their busy schedule. But it looks like they all enjoyed it and can't wait to get started on the tour. I can only support them and hope that this tour will go smoothly and that they are always in good health.

The sound of the bell interrupted my thoughts.

"It's them," said Yoongi who immediately stood up while holding Kyungdae in his arm

Yoongi walked briskly towards the entrance, while I stared at the backyard to check if there was something I had forgotten.

"Yoongi~aah! How are you? Waah Kyungdae~aah you've grown up huh?!", Jin's voice came from the entrance

"Hyung, how are you? We're fine... are you alone? Where's your wife?", asked Yoongi

"Sorry, she can't come. She has a sudden shooting schedule ... where is Sofia?", asked Jin

"Oppa! Long time no see... how are you?", I said walking up to them in the living room

"Sofia ssi... long time no see. I'm fine, you see?", he replied with a small laugh and hugged me

"Eunae oenni is not coming with you?", I asked

"Mian, she has an urgent schedule. She asked me to give this to you as an apology", said Jin while handing a bottle of red wine

"Aigo, no need to bother like this... I'll call Oenni to say thank you later", I said accepting the wine

"Gwaenchana... kyungdae~aah come to uncle Jin", Jin said as he took our baby from Yoongi's arms

The bell rang again.

"Just let me open it", I said to Yoongi

I went to the front door and opened it.

"Annyeong! Sofia ssi!!", screamed V immediately rushed to hug me

"Omo!", I screamed in surprise, Jimin and Jk just laughed at V's behavior

"Aigoo long time no see, I miss you. Where's my Kyungdae?", said V who went straight in looking for my baby

"Sofia~aah how are you?", Jimin asked smiling at me

"I'm okay, how about you?", I asked while hugging him

"It's never better," he replied smiling

"Come in, Jin Oppa also just arrived", I said to him

"Ookeey", he answered straight away and shouted his brother's name

"Noona, long time no see", said Jk shyly

"Jungkookie, how are you?", I asked

"I'm fine, so everyone has arrived?", he asked after letting go of his hug

"Only Namjoon and Hoseokie Oppa haven't arrived yet," I replied as I invited him in and headed for the backyard

"Oh, I heard Hobi hyung will be late..", he said

"Yeah", I said

When we arrived at the backyard, the sound of laughter and lively chatter rang out. Jk immediately rushed into Jin's arms who laughed out loud while ruffling his hair lovingly. Even though the years have changed, their friendship and brotherhood remain close.

"Kyungdae~aah do you miss uncle Tae? Because I really miss you", Tae said talking to my baby with aegyo

Then they all gathered around Kyungdae who looked back at them curiously.

"Kyungdae weee!", said Jin while widening his eyes and sticking out his tongue

"Aish, don't do it, Hyung! He'll cry", Jimin scolded Jin

I laughed at them and went to the kitchen to prepare a drink.

The bell rang again, I immediately went to the front door and opened it.

"Annyeong!", said RM

"Oppa! How are you? You look like a genius when you wear glasses like that", I said hugging him back

"Jinjja?" he asked

"Ne, but I like it, you look cool", I said again

He laughed until his dimples were visible.

When he came in, not long after, I saw a black sedan stop in front of the house gate, then J-Hope appeared waving his hand at me cheerfully.

"Sobiiii... sobi sobii!!", he screamed from a distance

I laughed and waved back, waiting for him to arrive at the door.

"Oraemaniyeyo... sorry I'm late. Have the others been waiting so long?", he asked worriedly

"Ani, come in Oppa", I said as I closed the door behind us

"Sorry to trouble you with our arrival", he said

"Ani, gwaenchana. I'm happy if you can gather here", I said again

"Gomawoyo", he said with a big smile

"Woaahh! Hoba!!", shouted Jin

"Jiiinn!!! Jiminaah! V! Jekeeeey! RM! Kyungdae appa!!", he called his friends

"Wae? Wae? Why do you call me by a different name?!", Yoongi asked laughing at Jhope's behavior

"Because you are indeed the only one among us who has become a father hahaha", answered Jhope with a laugh while hugging them one by one

"So if Jin Hyung has a child later, his nickname will change?", asked V with a face filled with a smile

"Yes, definitely", answered Jhope while sitting beside Jk

"Then what if he has more than one child? Are you going to mention all the names of his children, Oppa?", I asked, I couldn't help but laugh

"Waah, I didn't think about it haha ​​maybe the nickname would be very long. Imagine if one of us has 4 children haha ​​...", Jhope laughed which was followed by another laugh

"Sofia, yeogi yeogi (here here)", Jimin called

"Wae?", I asked him while carrying a tray of cold drinks

"Kyungdae cried seeing RM break his maracas", Jimin said chuckling

"Ya! Why you even broke my child's toys?", Yoongi said with an amused and annoyed face

"Mianhae Kyungdae~aah... I will buy you another toy instead, okay? Mianhae...", RM said to Kyungdae who was crying in V's arms

Jk and Jhope burst out laughing while Jin just shook his head with a smile.

Our dinner, as you might have guessed, was filled with cheerful chatter and laughter. Our dinner menu this time was grilled ribs, sundubu jjigae (tofu and kimchi stew), japchae, and bulgogi. And for the desert, there are brownies and ice cream. During dinner, we talked and joked non-stop.

"Sofia, look...", said V pointing at Kyungdae

"Oh my God", I said when I saw my baby was already asleep on Jimin's lap

I said goodbye first to take my baby to sleep. While they were just starting their night, drinking wine and beer while recounting the memories they had been through and also talking about their plans and dreams for the future.

I could see from the twinkle in their eyes that they missed this so much. Everything looks the same, nothing has changed, except for their mature attitude towards life.

Then, it was almost midnight when Yoongi finally entered the our bedroom. He looked tired but his eyes shone with joy.

"Sorry to disturb your sleep", Yoongi said to me

"Gwaenchana, I haven't slept yet", I replied looking at him undressing and getting into bed

"Everyone gone home?", I asked

"Ye. Sorry we lost track of time, Sobi", he whispered as he pulled me into his arms

"I'm glad you enjoyed the time with them," I replied quietly

"Yeah. We can't wait to start our promotional activities and tour. It feels like it's been years", he said while looking out the window

"I'm sure your tour will be successful. All your concert tickets are sold out, yeobo. It means that Army also misses you very much", I said hugging him tighter

"Ne. I am very grateful to have Army. They are not just fans but they are my bestfriends. We would not have reached this position without their support and love", he continued

"Ne", I answered simply

"Thank you Sobi, you and Kyungdae have made my life more perfect. I feel like I don't need anything in this world anymore. You know, if this turns out to be our last tour, I will never regret it, because I think we can land in peace after this...", he said slowly

"Yeobo, I'm sure you guys will fly for a long time... I know you all have become an Ahjussi (uncle) but we still love you and your music...", I whispered while chuckling

"Aigoo ahjussi ...", he chuckled too. "Gomawo Sobi~aah, thank you for always supporting me and always being by my side. Saranghae ...", he said while kissing my lips

"Saranghae", I answered

I stared at the skyscrapers lit up in the night while endlessly grateful for the life we ​​have right now. What I dreamed of one by one I have achieved, becoming a designer, having my fashion brand, a husband who loves me very much, a healthy and cute baby, a comfortable home, good friends and family who always support me.

I have forgiven myself for what happened in the past, and have never once regretted anything that happened in my life. Everything that happens has meaning, these hardships shape us into strong human beings, who can determine dreams and walk with certainty to achieve them.

Yoongi feels that his life is perfect because of us, but I think, we perfect each other's life....
