Jay Rodgrigord is telling his story

It's been approximately three years since I first saw her. She was very savage and sassy and even till now she is the same. Her beauty was giving me goosebumps and every time she took eyes of me, I felt my inside like spring. Her jawline's as strong as mine and it was another reason for her savage facial features. Her wolf cut haircut always menaced me for the beauty of her.

Wanna know about my Sassy Queen? Okay then listen carefully it's the time when I, Jay, fell for someone.

It was Tuesday and I was doing nothing but writing a few chapters of a book for an author when my friend Lessie Williams called me.

''Jay! You know what we're gonna welcome a new female author tomorrow. She is beautiful. You know what according to Josh she's very sassy. I can't wait for her to join us" Lessie said in one breath excitedly.

Well, I have to say I wasn't an extrovert so I wasn't impatient to meet her and I was ready to bet that she could never impress me.

I spent the rest of the day completing the task I was given.

I and Lessie were working in a company that supported the author by providing editors and other helping staff as personal workers. At that time, we both were working for a Male Author whose contract was about to end so the CEO told Lessie that Joesph had a female author friend who needed editors. Lessie was the editor and I used to make sketches, do photography and write chapters as a co-author.

''You're mad Lessie. I don't believe she'll be that beautiful'' I told Lessie when we were waiting for the new author to join us, the next day.

''You don't know Jay. She just seems perfect. I bet you'll like her at very first sight. Mark my words'' said Lessie pointing her index finger towards me.

''Hmm. You think it's that easy to make me fall at the very first sight. I bet you're gonna lose the bet'' I said confidently but the truth is that I was doubtful.

''Hmm let's see!'' Lessie said and gave me a determining look.

I slightly nodded my head and tried not to look doubtful.

I and Lessie were standing in front of the room which was gonna become our room.

Lessie was excited while I was just checking the time from my wristwatch.

''There's she, coming here'' Lessie said to make me attentive.

I saw up at her, indeed, she was beautiful. Wolf cut haircut of brown hair, eyes deep like Pacific were telling some kinds strange story I wasn't able to read but those brown eyes with a kinda little and extra eyelid over them were just fantastic. The round face but the jawline was strong enough to attract.

She was wearing a Khaki colour suit and walking confidently wholesome. A man who was wearing a black suit was walking behind her as though he was her bodyguard. I swear both were spitting fire. She was talking to him in low voice, I felt.

''Just look at her. She's my female ideal'' Lessie said but I didn't reply to Lessie. I was just watching her deep eyes.

''Hello! I'm Ziana Rhodes'' she came near, gave a smile and said to me while moving her hand towards me to shake.

I was just watching her blankly, dunno why?

''Mr. Jay Rodgrigord" said the man to indicate to me that she was waiting for me to reply her.

''Err-Hmm-Ahh Hello! Jay Rodgrigord'' I said while shaking my hand.

''Nice to meet you, Sir! Ziana said informally and to be honest, I actually fell for her at the very first sight. Her words and sight made my heart skip a beat. I stood still, tried to say something but I, literally, was very confused.

She called me SIR; this thought was hitting my mind hard.

''Ahh-Hmm yes-yes Ma'am'' I said trying to control myself.

''Call me Ziana Jay!'' She said and I felt like I was about to faint with an unexpected happiness.

I nodded confusingly.

''Hello Miss Rhodes!'' Lessie said bowed her twice.

''Lessie! Joseph told me about ya'' said Ziana humbly.

''Yeah! He told me that'' Lessie told happily. Lessie was highly fascinated by Ziana's humbleness, I felt that.

Ziana passed Lessie a smile then took my eyes.

I who was watching her unintentionally, staggered and then looked up at Ziana who gave me a very different look, actually a very savage one.

''Where do you get lost Jay?'' she asked me but rudely.

I who was also fascinated by her humbleness was now feeling bad.

She is rude, I thought.

''Take Miss Rhodes to the room where she'll work, please'' said the man standing behind Ziana.

Lessie nodded excitedly and opened the door behind me.

''Here Ziana'' said Lessie watching Ziana happily.

Ziana bowed her and looked at me. Actually, I was standing in front of the entrance. I quickly got the point of her gaze and got aside. She smirked at me and I felt embarrassed, dunno why?

I ruined my image in her sight the very first time, I thought.

That day passed very quickly she just told me and Lessie that she's writing for some exhibition so quality images and editing will be needed.

''Okay, so the first three chapters are done already. Lessie you may review them and then edit them as per need and Jay, you'll follow me down to the grounds and will show the magic of your photography'' she said and took my eye.

I who wasn't ready for another spring feeling slightly shook my head and started reminding her words JAY, YOU'LL FOLLOW ME DOWN TO THE GROUNDS AND WILL SHOW THE MAGIC OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY.

''So, you guys may review the chapters first and then start working from tomorrow or over morrow'' she told and mailed us the stuff she wrote before.

''Ah, my lens. I mean the camera lens; it's not working as it should'' I said when she took me down to the grounds and asked me to take a picture of the dark clouds. It was a very windy day and I wasn't feeling much better and the reason for it was that I didn't eat breakfast as I was late today.

''Huh? Lens' not working. Rare occurrence. Don't you have a second camera or lens'' Ziana asked me watching me with an unforgivable look.

''Actually, the second camera, I left it home. I forgot it'' I said slowly in low voice.

''And the second lens'' she asked aggressively.

''The camera only has the genuine lens, I can't pick any lens and fit it'' I said trying not to look into her eyes.

''Then what are you waiting for, huh? Go and get the camera now because we have to complete it today'' she said and started walking back to the office.

I was starving and feeling weak but still, I went back home and took the camera back and, on my way, back to the office I went to the official place of the camera's company. One of the staff, after looking into it, told me that the lens got fungus in it and its recovery was expensive so now it was totally useless.

Well, I'll say he was right because the camera wasn't in use for a long time.

I went back to the office, climb all the stairs because the elevators were busy.

''You got that Jay!'' I heard Ziana saying when I entered the room. Lessie wasn't there, perhaps she had just left the office because she had done her work.

''Yes, I got it'' I said and put the camera down on the table and felt myself falling uncontrollably.

''Jay!'' I heard Ziana calling me and coming towards me and what happened after it, I don't know. I just remember that I woke up in a beautiful villa. I was lying on the sofa and just in front of me was a huge clear glass allowing me to watch the beautiful scene outside.

I tried to get up and sit.

''Did you wake up?'' came a voice behind me.

I turned and watched Ziana's back. She was sitting at the chair after the table and was typing something. Her typing was very fast, I felt.

''Yeah, I just'' I was saying while I feel that I wasn't wearing my shirt.

I quickly pulled the blanket back which I threw aside.

''Don't worry I didn't take that off, Joseph did'' said Ziana without turning back and watching me ''And your shirt is there'' she added indicating to the opposite sofa. I quickly got up, took my shirt and wore it as quickly as I could.

''You're done'' she asked aggressively once more.

''Yeah! Yeah! I'm all done'' I said and started walking towards her.

''Okay then good'' she said and got up to her feet.

I was almost there in front of her, just a very few inches or less distance and she was watching into my eye, her eyes were full of sass and savageness, wildness. She was watching me as though I wasn't even there. So calm expression but I can't deny her eyes were making me uncomfortable.

I quickly step aside and coincidentally, my eye stood over the clock.

It was night, midnight and the huge glass was showing something totally different. My eye widened when I saw the time, Ziana who secretly took my eye, said ''You're starving?''.

I quickly took her eye ''No! No! I am alright'' I lied.

''Don't lie to me'' she said and went out of sight.

Is it that obvious? I thought.

I was watching the living room with all my interest and I wasn't believing that the scene that huge glass was showing wasn't real. It was some kinda technology.

Is she afraid of darkness or like light somehow, even more? I thought while watching the glass.

As much I observed her villa was whole lighted up. None of the places was dark.

The glass was showing a beautiful midday scene while it was night.

''Come here Jay!'' I heard Ziana calling from outside so I went to listen to her.

''Sit down'' she said and waited for me to sit.

I pulled a chair out and sat down.

''Here you go'' she said and passed me a plate and then the bowl full of white rice with boiled vegetables in them and then a sauce and then at the last water.

''Can we eat together?'' I asked when I saw her leaving me alone and walking out of the big dining room.

She turned back and took my eye in an unexpected way.

I knew she wasn't there to do me this much favour and to be honest, I was totally ready to get rejected but the way she rejected me made me feel like I am a fool.

''I'm not your girlfriend. Am I?'' she said watching me sassily.

My eyes got wide open after listening to this. I wasn't able to reply back.

''I took mine before'' she said and left the place quiet.

''I am such a fool'' I said patting my forehead harder.

''What will she think? And what were you thinking Jay? Why did you just ask her this? Why do you're not understanding that you're working for her'' I said to myself and clenched my fists.

I wasn't feeling hungry anymore.

''I am done for today'' I said to myself and got up and walked outside.

''You can go and sleep in the room'' Ziana said when she saw me entering the living room.

''Why should I sleep in the room? Am I your boyfriend'' I asked widely for the very first time.

She took my eye normally and replied ''I would invite you to my own room if you were mine''

My eyes widened and I felt fool once again.

You cannot reach her level, Jay! So don't try to, I thought and started walking after her.

She took me to a big room and there I stayed for the night.
