Chapter 4

Blaze Astor POV

I know what I am doing is not right! I have no right to feel happy thinking about a high school girl but I can't help cause here I am sitting on the same bench where I met those beautiful golden amber eyes. It is past 4 in the evening and I could feel the cool breeze trying to relax my soul. But that cold wind didn't seem to calm my mind cause all I wanted was her! I have only met her once but I could tell that I was getting addicted.

I could feel my mind relaxing, and forgetting all my worries, the moment I saw her. She was walking towards me and my mouth curled up itself for a smile. I was in a different world when my vision fell on my sweetheart. I don't even know her name and I wanted to know her more! I wanted to know all about her!

She was wearing the same ear pods as the other day and her eyes were glued to the mobile phone, she had in her hands. She was wearing black boots with matching black jackets and her hair was tied in a cute ponytail. Boots and jackets are her styles I guess!

My eyes never left my princess and my eyes widened when I saw her stopping in her tracks. I felt disappointed! I thought she was approaching me! She turned back before slipping her hands in her pockets and that was when I realized that there was a boy who had gripped her wrists from behind. I could feel my nerves getting tighter and the sight made my blood boil.

I rushed towards the spot trying to help my princess but before I could I heard a loud slap and a screeching sound ringing in my ears. I was astonished when I saw her smacking his head in the nearby Pinus tree.

"Could you please stop following me? I am not all interested in your fucking offer? Why don't you try flirting with other girls?" Sassy! huh! she asked calmly but it was more like a warning. Her angelic amber eyes were bigger than the usual sizes and her eyebrows were arched. I could tell that she was pissed but she was trying her best to control her temper. I guess I should learn how to control my temper from her.

"How dare you slap me bitch! Do you know who I am? Just wait! one day I'll have you in my bed. Just-" the guy shouted making me furious. But he didn't get a chance to complete his sentence cause before he could, my princess kicked his crotch with her knees and I couldn't control myself that I burst into laughter. That guy fell on the ground and screamed in pain but not before giving me an annoyed look. I smirked at him and suppressed a smile before turning to look at my princess.

She was looking at me with a weird expression which I couldn't understand. She was staring at me intently with a different kind of emotion. I opened my mouth to speak something but nothing seemed to come out of my mouth.

Ignoring my presence, she walked past me and sat on the bench where I sat before. I followed her too and sat at the opposite side of the bench. Her eyes were glued to the mobile phone in her pretty hands.

Minutes passed and I was just staring at the cherry blossoms on my front. Not actually the pink flowers but my vision was completely immersed in the girl sitting with her legs crossed from my peripheral side. Trying not to be obvious I kept staring at her from my peripheral vision. My precious moment got paused when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned back furiously to find a confused Daxon with his mate.

"What are you doing here, Blaze?" he asked disorientated.

Before I could answer I felt my princess packing her things before walking off. I felt my heart abandoned in her absence. What was she doing to me? It was just fucking two days since I met her!

'Where is she going?'

'Why don't you try following her from behind', a voice spoke inside my head. Yeah! He is my wolf, Derick.

'Are you interested in her too?' I asked in return amusedly.

'I guess so!' he chuckled and my eyes widened. My beasty wolf who even hates the word 'mate' is interested in a girl! 'She is one of a kind' he added.

'Definitely, she is!' I responded proudly.

I heard someone clearing their throat awkwardly and that's when I realized Daxon!

"I just came to check on you" I stated calmly.

"Check on me? Did something happen to you? You never came like this before?" he interrogated.

"Well, that was before!" I replied with a smile.

"Before? Then what about now? You-"

"I just came to check on you and since you are all good now I'll get going," I said cutting off his words and walking past him.

"Can't you lend me my car?" I heard him shout from behind but I didn't care. It is my car and just because his mate is with him I can't lend him mine. What if my mate saw me walking in the road without a damn vehicle of my own. I should start caring for my looks from now!

I thought it will not be a good thing to have a crush on a high school girl but since my wolf approved of my interest, I have decided now. Never in life did I think that neither I nor my wolf would be interested in someone. More precisely a human! I will make her mine! I guess my 35 years wait is gonna end. She will be mine! My mate! My only one!

'Not yours, but ours' Derick growled from behind making me smile sheepishly.

'Yes, Ours!' I replied. 'So are you ready Derick for our new mission?'

'Anytime for our mate' he said and I can see him smirking in my mind.
