Noticing that the Imp didn't have any intention of stopping anytime soon, Lake spoke out.

"Silence."

With one word, everyone paused as they stared at Lake in shock.

Lake didn't care about their shock however and casually threw the book back to the demon girl.

"Catch."

"Huh? -Ah!"

The demon girl was surprised by the book suddenly flying towards her. She hurried to grab the book as she fumbled with it a bit before bringing it to her chest, holding it tightly.

Since Lake couldn't understand the contents of the book for now, it was pointless for him to keep it. 

The book was equivalent to a deck of cards, where every time he drew a card, a random effect happened. 

Lake found this randomness far too risky for his own use so he'd rather have someone who could use it properly hold onto it.

Looking at the three demons silently staring at him, Lake thought for a moment before he began to explain.
