Chapter 99 Go exploring

Angel's POV

In the evening, I was putting makeup on Gabriel to cover up his current appearance and make him look like a rogue.

My heart was so heavy that I didn't want to say any word.

The rest of the warriors had already done their makeup and were waiting down there. I looked at Gabriel, with my hands shaking.

"Don't be afraid Angel." Gabriel took my hand, "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."

"I can't do it." I said.

The witch had given me a note that she would hurt the people around me if I continued to investigate her.

She seemed to know a lot of things, so this trip to Gabriel was fraught with risk.

I told Gabriel about the note. After hearing it, he looked at me in silence.

I said, "If you feel scared, we can give up. I want to know how my parents died, but I'd rather you could be safe."
