Chapter 49

Angel's POV

"No, Angel, don't kill him." Lani cried.

"But why? He's just a piece of shit and you're crying over such a piece of shit?"

"I'm begging you Angel." Lani's voice grew hoarse.

"Okay." I couldn't say no to Lani, so I just kicked Simon, "Get out of my house right now. And don't ever come back here again."

Simon was unwilling to give up, he wanted to curse something else, but I stomped on his leg, "You can't beat me, and I'll say it one last time, get out of here. Or I will break your leg!"

Simon was so intimidated by me that he took one last look at Lani, then running away.

Michael stayed quiet in the doorway, but I could see the huge waves in his heart. He wasn't as calm as he appeared to be.

I turned to Lani, "Maybe it's time for you to explain to me properly who this man is and why he claims to be your mate."

Lani was still crying and I led her to my room as Michael kept watching us.
