Chapter 47

Angel's POV

We put out the fire with the warriors of the leaf pack, but as I said, the house where the witch lived before had all been turned into ashes.

The bomber had destroyed all traces of the witch's existence.

Mark was so angry that he blocked off the entire pack but couldn't find the person who made the explosion, nor the person who gave me the note.

He also thought that the surprise mentioned in the note was most likely a reference to the explosion.

It was a happy holiday, but because of an explosion, everyone became depressed.

Including me.

I went back to Lani's house with Gabriel, who sensed my unhappiness and tried to comfort me.

"Maybe that note was just a prank? Think of something happy, and we'll surely find the person who put the bomb."

"I hope we'll find it, too." I was so tired that I took off my jacket and got ready to take a shower.
