Angel's POV

The next day, Gabriel asked to follow me all the way.

Last night, Gabriel used almost all of his power to channel into my body to bring me back to consciousness.

This is extremely damaging to a werewolf's body, more so than the side effects the potion had on me.

"If I agree to your request, can you promise me that you won't do something like this next time? You're the Alpha here, and I'm not the only one you have to protect." I said.

"I promise you. " Gabriel was visibly relieved to have my approval.

I knew he was also afraid that what happened last night would happen again, but there was one thing I couldn't figure out.

"Why did you immediately show up at the door last night? I put a barrier on the mate link, you weren't supposed to know where I was."
