62 Third Layer - Time to refine

Later that night Michael decided it was time to start refining his meridians again. Although he was tired, the prospect of becoming Master Yi's disciple had made his young heart eager. After all, if he were to tutor under the old man he would not only gain recognition, he would also have access to vast Alchemy resources.

In addition to possessing Archie and the Eternal Pendant, his future was looking bright. However, the condition of losing his Qi every morning was looming overhead, putting tremendous pressure on his very being.

While Archie and Michael had both tried to figure out its origin, and ways to remedy the situation, they both fell short each time. Not coming any closer to finding out why or how to fix it.

With a deep sigh, Michael decided there was no use thinking about it any further. For now his goal was to refine his meridians to the silver tier so they could withstand the Qi from the Ancient Qi-Boosting pill he needed to consume.
