what.....

I woke up and I looked around.

I was In my bed.

"what happened, oh no Eli"

I ran downstairs to find Eli sleeping on his bed .

I checked the doors and windows.

no forced entry..

maybe I was dreaming.

"Eli," I asked

he perked up his ears.

"did anyone come in last night..?"

"no I didnt see anyone." he said quickly.

a loud grumble filled the room.

"hungry?" I asked

he nodding and followed me as I went Into the kitchen.

after filling up his dog bowl with food,

I grabbed some cereal and poured it.

after breakfast I put my bowl in the sink.

I looked down at Eli, he didnt eat his food.

"Eli why didn't you eat?" I asked.

"i dont like dog food.." he grumbled

"it's bad to give dogs human food.." I told him

"fine..." Eli said and he slowly ate the food.

I got to my computer and started typing.

after 2 hours of starring at the screen I plopped my head down.

"what's wrong?" Eli asked from behind me.

" I can't finish this stupid chapter." I wailed

"what's it about?" Eli wondered

I explained to him the story line, characters and my dilemma.

Eli nodded and when I was done he spoke.

"So give her a sidekick!" he concluded.

i was about to speak when he continued speaking.he knew my next question.

"she was investigating and a man who witnessed it offers his help."

"Eli, that's perfect!" i gleefully said

"hey Eli," I asked standing up.

"thank you." I said as I hugged him hard

I heard him wisper

"anything for my mate..."
