I Live in Hatred

I'm living in fear after what Mr. Alex said. I mean I was in fear before that but it has gotten intense. That woman is truly something else. If only I had any other choice, I would leave this creepy job that day. I also don't want to live my life in constant terror. Though Mr. Alex assured me that if I don't interfere with her, I wouldn't be killed.

"hmmm" I kept sighing until a message showed on my phone. Today is my day off so I wouldn't had to visit that bloody place.

The hospital bill of Mrs...… is unpaid. Kindly pay it until twenty this month.

"So…It's already that time of the month," I mumbled as I stood up from my unorganized bed. This is the time when I became afraid because the hospital receptionists would message and call me several times just to make sure I pay the due payment. Don't they should pay more attention on recovering patients than on taking money from poor people? Wasn't that supposed to be the works of loan sharks? Does the hospital is an under-cover loan shark organization. To hide the fact that they are loan shark, they establish the hospital.

As I was antagonizing the hospitals, I changed my clothes to give a visit to the place I hated most. Even if I hated that place, I still couldn't help but be grateful to them as they are treating my sick mother. The door of my room closed slowly and I walked outside. Every time I went to the hospital, I became somewhat arrogant. Was it because I hate that place or something else?

The hospital is not far away from my apartment. I just need to walk to the bus station, get onto the bus to 'Monkeys Resolve', A thirty-minute way from here. It's the city next to downtown. I used to live there but last year I moved downtown because of doing several part times jobs here. The current part-time job I'm doing is in 'Eyepatch' the city next to downtown. The thing is the three cities Downtown, Monkeys Resolve, Eyepatch are connected to one way or another. For insurance, If you live Downtown, you would be able to travel between both two cities in a minimal amount of time. The easiest way is to get on a bus. There seemed like today is way crowded than general. People from teen to aged were pilling up to get onto the bus I was waiting for. I stood next to them, in search of a way to get up.

"What the hell, Old man?" A young teenage boy began arguing with an old-aged grandpa-type man for the simplest thing possible. Even though I wasn't sure what the reason was but I grasped the reason out of the situation.

"Why did you block the path when I was about to enter the bus? I could have had an accident there." The teen boy said roughly.

He was probably right that the old man blocked the path that when he was trying to get onto the bus. He was also wrong about that. The elderly people had to take hardship to get onto the bus. Because of old, their body became week so they tend to hold the bus's handle in front of the door to get up on the bus and it was supposed to be there for that solo purpose. But somewhere in the teen boy's eyes, it became a crime for the old man. He was astounded by that fact, staring at the boy as if he didn't know what to do. His trembling sights were visible to all of us present there. The boy was constantly pressurizing the old man for his mistake although It wasn't a mistake or it was, in the eyes of the boy.

Every one of us was witnessing this vulnerable moment but none of us moved an inch from our designated area. In a time like this, we should help the old aged man who was trembling as if the world had fallen on his shoulder.

I couldn't help but slam my foot onward. Someone had to do the job of a savior or else the world's going to fall apart beneath us. The boy quickly averted his sights as I was going on his way.

"huh? What's that you want?" His voice was filled with unwanted arrogance that I couldn't tolerate. It's do or die moment. I have to decide here and on that, I could help the poor, helpless man that needed my solo help.

"A-Ahem" I swiftly cleared my throat as it was jammed then began speaking wisely.

"If the old man is the one at fault then you are also at fault here."

"What did you say? Why I'm also at fault here? This old dude blocked my passage and I almost got into an accident." The boy argued like a beast. I was about to step back but then I saw something I shouldn't have. As his bag was slightly opened, my eyes met with it. Packs of drugs were peeking out of it. It shouldn't hypothetically be in a high school boy's bag. Was he one of the drugs traffickers?

I nonviolently moved my arms and stretched them up, showing that I was quite relaxed, and in truth I was.

"I see... You got quite a lot of white powder there. How much does it all cost?"

I said in a teasing manner.

"What?" He flashed dumbfoundedly and then saw the bag that was quite open. Hurriedly closing the bag, he said fearfully, "W-What are you talking about? W-What white powder? I don't have any."

"Then why are you so afraid? Should I call the police?" As I was saying that the city I was supposed to leave arrived. The boy quickly jumped out of the bus in hurry. He was really thinking that I would call the police.

Seeing the boy went down, the elder seemed relieved, "Thanks for your help."

I nodded my head in response and left the bus as it was supposed to be my stop.

Humans are quite inferior creatures. They pick on the weak for the slightest thing possible. Like they aren't human at all. They think it is a great joy to them. But the person they are doing it to suffers greatly. On every level, it happens on regular basses. Such as in big companies, hospitals, police departments. After all, it's just human nature. If there are humans, there would remain the domination system. It's an unavoidable thing. I wonder is the domination algorithm really that fun? I mean if I got a kind of marvelous power, would I dominate others?
