A Playground for Dercy

"Why the hell are you, Ms. Clara. This is absurd! We need you most here!" I felt quite irritated as Mr. Lukas was in a critical position. "I can't wait any longer. I have to hurry. Sorry, Mr. Lukas." I have seen everything that happened in the torture cell from here through CCTV. I don't know how the hell Jodan got so powerful all of a sudden. I hurriedly went out of the room and began coughing as the dust went inside me. The entire prison was broken. You could see the sky out of the ceiling. It was because the prison was not multiple floored although it has many ground floors. The one that is more secured is this floor because of the prison master who looks after it with his own eyes. It would be a pain to search for him now. I Have to hurry or else...No, I don't want to think about that possibility. As I entered the torture room brutality cast on me. It was the most grudge of some things I saw in my entire life. The room had a complete makeover from white to bright red. The army of Kurama was fighting with a single individual. I had my eyes locked at the scene but soon it averted to the lonely body of a man laying hopelessly near the wall. It felt like he had already given up fighting. His body was engrossed with blood. Without thinking for a second I went near him. Nobody noticed me as they were so determined in the fight. But I felt like Jodan had certainly noticed me as he and I exchanged glances for a second. Rather than paying attention to him, I left for Mr. Lukas. His eyes were half-closed.

"Mr. Lukas! Sir! Sir! You okay?" My worriedness was exposed through words. However, Mr. Lukas wasn't a bit happy to see me worrying.

"You came here to die?" His voice had become softer, "haven't said you not to come here?"

"I can't...I can't..just leave you like this." This is getting over my head.

"Ms. Clara isn't answering my calls, I didn't know what to do now…"

"Reyes, You don't have to worry so much."

"Don't say that. Let me take you to the hospital. You're badly injured. Come on.." I held him and was about to stand up but failed to do that as he shouted with pain. "Ah! Don't, Reyes!" I could feel his pain in abdominal. It was in severe condition. He was holding it with his might but in the end, he's just a human. He can't regenerate like those monsters. This is….This... ridicules… Not to mention the stabbed wound that I couldn't understand.

"Sir, Just try a bit." He did listen to my request but his body didn't. It falls down on the floor again. "Give up, Reyes."

"I don't...I don't...give up." He patted my head as I was throbbing and sobbing. "This isn't how it is supposed to be…."

I let him lay down on the floor with a hopeless heart.

"Save him, Reyes "

"Who?"

"The one who had got through more pain than any of us."

His gaze went from me to that individual. "Jodan?" It was indeed him. He might have been in pain because of us and that's an undeniable fact.

"Save me? He's a monster?"

Mr. Lukas didn't have his cold-hearted looks today rather it was a soft and regretful self. "I was wrong Reyes. I made the same old mistake."

"I don't understand what are you saying. What mistake? Save who? The one who should be saved now is you."

"See, Reyes that's not Jodan anymore. His the child of his mother. We pushed him off the cliff and now he's not in himself. Look Reyes do you still think he's the Jodan who never dreamed of harming anyone, the one who kept fighting to save his humanity?" Having a sinister grin on his face the individual that was once known by the name Jodan was massacring the army of Kurama as if they were nothing but ants. His eyes had no reflection, no empathy, no texture nothing on it. Only blank dark round eyes that were shrinking with evil. His arms move simultaneously in a dynamic way that can't be described. It appeared as if he was giving a live performance that he was confident in. What power! This is like a drastic change that I couldn't even think of it. The Jodan who had me thinking whether or not he is the fault or not for days has eased my confusion.

"Hahah!" The laughs that came out of his mouth one at a time made him pure evil. The blood-splashing image of him had made its way to my memories. What a boorish scene! I couldn't help but glaze with wonder. Is this the same Jodan who saved a child? Of course, he's not the same but he had himself within the shell, although who is now doesn't concern me. He had finally given up his humanity. What could you expect? He had now become a full-form monster that doesn't think twice when killing. His legs were sliced earlier by none other than Mr. Lukas but it had now grown its way back like a new one although there are scars that were indeed visible. He wasn't resisting a bit when killing. A group of guards that weren't supposed to come here with heavy techs that even I didn't see in my life. Will it work on this monster? Perhaps not. It might be effective but I can't say how much. They were truly shocked to see the fights amongst the monsters but they didn't back off and turned their tail rather onward with great will. But there was a mistake they made. They approached the mighty monster rather than taking the small fry's first. The mistake had taken their life within a minute. "A hamburger!" Jodan took two slabs out of the floor and crushed them on between as if he was making a sandwich. Blood slipped the floor.

"You have to take him out of the darkness, Reyes. This is your last and final order."
