A Casual Day in Hideout

[The Thirsty Wolves Hideout]

"Ahah!! Please spare me! I-I don't want to die here. I have a wife and son in the home!" The man cried out in agony. His expression was something that interests me much. It was a mixture of fear and a gust of losing someone. It was a hopeless situation.

However, Kurama was finding it so exciting that he ended up smiling although I wasn't sure if it was a smug or smile.

"After what you did, do you really what to be spared?" Kurama closed the distance between him and that man. He had a terrifying face that made the man wet. The floor became enclosed with his filthy urine. Hah… More work for Ken. He sure had a hard time working here. I wonder how much time he would work here. Most of the workers only last for a month or so.

"I'm S-Sorry… Sorrry-y, I wouldn't do anything again. So, please don't kill me.!"

The man's voice was filled with despair. He just wanted to be spared. I couldn't feel his sorrow but somehow, I was able to.

In this silence midnight, I could only hear his scream for help.

Kurama placed a sharp knife on the table near his chair. If only he was untired, he would just run away as fast as he could.

"Aah! I don't feel like to dirty my hands now." Hearing this from Kurama made the man's face turned from agony to relive.

"So, you wouldn't kill me?" he said with a bit of a smile on his face. But Kurama didn't answer him, instead faced me with his hand upturned. He will be asking me to finish his business or that's what I thought at that moment.

"Should I kill him with words?" asked Kurama, as he was waiting for my reply, I averted my sights from him to the man and saw the man puzzled. Without giving any proper answer I said in a sluggish manner, "As you wish." In that brief moment, Kurama made his moves.

"Mr. Loki! How was your day going? Is it fun with your wife?"

"A-Ah… It's fine, why are you dragging my wife here?" The man who was in agony earlier was furious now. Human can certainly change their expression in a split second.

"Your wife is not with you last night? Why was it?"

"I said, Stop! Don't drag her with me!" The man was more furious than before.

"Was she with her boyfriend? Her new boyfriend that he brought from a bar." Kurama added, "Why did she get a boyfriend even though she has you? Why was it?"

"I don't know! How would I know that! That woman is enjoying herself like a slut. I can't do anything regarding that." The man replied in a calm and distorted manner as if he had lost his reason to argue.

"You see, I know why exactly she abandoned you," Kurama said confidently.

"Huh?" His expression was like 'How do you know that?"

"Your wife had always hated you! Everything about you she hated. She despicable you more than a pig."

The man was like he had fallen from the cliff. He was frozen in his place. But then again he said while lowering his face.

"I-I know that. I know that."

"Even though you know that you never accepted it. You always thought she might be just enjoying her free time as any other woman would. Don't you?" Kurama said, "In a corner of your heart, you still believed that she loves you. Don't you? The truth is you're only fooling yourself."

The man went silent as if he had accepted his defeat.

"' Why did he not die?' That's what your wife is thinking every single time he sees your ugly face. How can you be so ignorant? That woman didn't even love you at all. She only married you for your wealth. Your love is nothing more to her than an unwanted child. The child that no one wants."

"She wants me to die? Even after all, I did for her?" The man's voice was shaking as he spoke out of his mind.

"Humans are disgusting creatures… She would be very happy if you just die. One day or other she would kill you, Mr. Loki." Kurama said quietly as if the man couldn't hear it. "That's how human is. Even if they have intelligence their selfishness always make them the worst creature of the race.

"She wants me to die….She wants me to die…" The man kept mumbling over again and again.

"You haven't realized it yet. Poor thing you are. Look there's a knife there. End this despair now and leave the world that is filled with love and happiness." Kurama said in a calm, wise, philosophical way. "that's what your wife wants after all."

Kurama slowly stepped backward, the man took the knife from the table. Up until now, his hand was shaking violently but now it completely stopped as if he had finally left his will to live. Kurama turned his back on him and came near me. "Where's Fiona? Did she come with the diary?"

My eyes were locked on Kurama but for a moment I heard a scream from his back where the man should be. I looked at the man in instinct.

He sliced his necked hard enough that a bust of blood spilled out like a fountain. Then he fell on that bloody ground.

"You haven't answered me yet," Kurama said seriously.

"No, she didn't arrive here."

"That's suspicious, it's almost morning. She should come earlier. Was she caught by change?" Her words were that she would bring the diary from that boy by midnight. The work was simple and easy. You just have to retrieve the diary from the boy that has it.

"I don't think so. She's someone strong enough to take an entire department of polices." I answered without holding back.

"Yeah, that's right. She's strong."

"Hello!~~" A beautiful middle-aged woman wearing an erotic dress that you could find in any proustite's body. She had that seductive way of talking. It was none other than the woman we were talking about earlier. She finally arrived here. Why did she take so long to do just a simple task? Did she forget the way back?"

The first thing Kurama said was "Have to come with the diary?" He's really cold to women. In most cases, he should say something like, "Daring, welcome home" or "Have a seat, you might be tired. We'll talk about the work later."

"Yeah~~How could I not bring that after all I did went there to bring that diary for you~~ Here!" as he said that she threw something like a doll's lower half towards us. No! it wasn't a doll. It was a human! A girl's lower half of body.

"I had to hurry things up. So, I took her half of the body. Tee-hee~~ Don't worry the diary is in her back pocket."

"Didn't you say that the diary was taken by a boy?" I questioned.

"Yeah! That's right. But when I reached there, I saw her doing something in the diary. I thought that boy might have given the diary to the girl here." She added, "You would be really surprised to hear what I found."

"I don't want to. Just take out the diary!" Kurama's answer was as cold as ever.
