Although Xiulan kept Chen Yan at arm's length, they got on well with each other and became friends on the way to the designated place. She had no idea where Delun was taking them to. Yes, it was Tang Delun driving because a weird Quan demanded to change it.

The car passed the magnificent view of mountain ranges and green areas, including several bridges which gleamed over the crystal clear blue water of long rivers while the sun shone brightly above. The birds chirped in unison while the fresh air danced along with them.

The natural scenery was so breathtaking that Xiulan even stopped the car to take a photo of it. Great that she brought an instant film camera!

Xiulan was like an excited student on an excursion, with a bag on her back and a camera around her neck. She wore a casual sundress with red and white floral patterns, completing her youthful look.
