13 This is all?!

Amazed faces, jealous looks… They were all there among the crowd around me. Should I be glad? Should I be worried? Hmm… Well, here comes another old man.

"Young man, would you like to be my direct disciple?" The old man approached me to ask me if I wanted to be his disciple. Hell no! This oldy is literally asking me if I want to sleep with him. Yes, sleep with him, since cultivation is all about PP. I hope it's not though, but in case it is, I'll decline in advance. Why do I need a master when I have a system? Ha! I'd rather let that hot Xianner be my master, if you know what I mean… Hehehe. No! The plan is to dominate her, okay! Wait… Why am I talking to myself. Am I crazy? Whatever, let's just kindly decline this guy.

"I'm sorry, but I like to be in solitude more." Was the kindest way I could think of to decline the old guy that didn't look too bad based on looks alone.

'What is he doing here?' I asked myself inside my mind when I saw old man Xuan whisper to the ears of the old guy in front of me.

"Oh, a shy one." The old guy muttered in surprise as Xuan whispered something to his ears. "It's usually them that are the most talented and the ones to quickly changed into the most brazen ones." He continued to mutter, but was talking to Xuan now instead of muttering to himself.

A few seconds later, and the old guy was finally done talking to old man Xuan. "I understand your decision, and will not continue pestering." The old guy focused his attention on me again. "I wish you success in your road to immortality, and welcome you to our sect. The rising Dragon sect… Everyone! Give a round of applause for our number one recruit of this year! What's your name young man?"

"Uhm… Zhen Jiang." I took quite the while to answer.

"Zhen Jiang! Congratulations! As a reward, once you enter the library, you can take out one copy of a PP cultivation manual from the second floor. The rest of you, we all know your ranking, including the librarian! As to not cause a mess, I'll tell you about your position in the sect!"

And so, the old guy began with his explanation, which everyone, including the few elders, listened to. The elders simply listened along with the recruits however, and didn't take anything to not, since they already know what the old guy knows about the sect.

The explanation was simple. There were four sections in the first floor, which were properly sorted out for the low, mid, and high ranking outer disciples. If one had a low rank but a mid grade talent, they were allowed to choose a copy from the mid section. If they had a mid rank but high grade talent, they were allowed to choose a copy from the high section. The gist of it wasn't too difficult, and it was quite easily understandable for everyone. Had someone a higher talent than their rank, then they were allowed to enter a section higher than he grade of their rank. I for example, have a greater talent than my rank, and because there is no next section, I am allowed to the second floor. Easy right? That guy who lasted thirty minutes for example. He is a high ranked outer disciple now, but also a high grade talent. This means that unfortunately, he stays in place in the section for high ranking disciples.

'Hmm… Would I be in the same section then, if I managed to break both orbs… I mean like, same grade right?'

'Hmmm…' I thought deeply, after having heard the explanation of the old guy.

"Uh-uhm! Alright! Everyone that failed their examination are supposed to leave. The rest of you, form a line behind each other. Low rankings here, mid rankings there, and high rankings there. Zhen Jian, you stay here. Elder Xuan, if you may continue." The old guy stepped aside after having his words, and left Xuan to entertain the audience.

"Hello there, disciples of the rising Dragon sect. I am Elder Xuan, holder of the finance. You can find me on mountain L, which you will know about shortly after. The reason why you need to look for me, is because you'll have to receive your monthly allowance from me. Also, if any of you need more PP crystals, I'm the one giving out quests. So please, if you need anything related to PP crystals, you should come to me."

Just like the old guy stepped away to give Xuan to the audience, Xuan stepped away for another elder to receive the audience as well.

"I am Elder Mawa, cartographer since I was born." Mawa introduced himself, and handed out maps for every disciple including me. "I believe you are all familiar to maps. If you aren't, it doesn't matter, as the details are major enough for a newborn to understand."

"Watch out! Watch out!" I suddenly heard a feminine and high pitched voice behind me, however it was too late for me to watch out. I couldn't even dodge away, nor look behind me to see who it was. It was simply tragic. By tragic, I literally mean tragic. I got stabbed by a sword for damn sake! Luckily, it didn't reach my ass, and stabbed my thigh instead. That still hurt however, and what was worse was that not only did I get stabbed, but pushed to the ground to eat the dirt too. Behind me, lying on my back, I could feel a petite figure with a flat chest lying on my back. With the conformation of the voice, I was hoping that there was actually a girl in this world, since I felt nothing poking at my ass. The system proved everything about that to me already though, so it's no use hoping for things that are impossible.

"Oh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

Damn, she sounds so adorable… But not as adorable as the pain of a sword being in my damn thighs!
