A group of four sixteen year old boys were walking down a path at the side of an empty road with looks of boredom on their faces.

These were Lars and his friends Kadyn, Jack and Dan.

Lars was 5'10 with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. He had an average body as he didn't work out very often or play any sports.

Kadyn was 5'9 and light-skin with curly brown hair and brown eyes. He played football and had quite a well-trained body.

Jack was 5'7 with straight brown hair and green eyes. He was quite thin and looked more nerdish than any of the others.

Dan was 6'2 and dark-skin with very short black hair and dark brown eyes. He was quite overweight but also muscular.

The four friends were on their way to school and were not looking forward to the day ahead. However, their walk was stopped as something strange appeared before them. IN front of each of their eyes were screens with text on them.

"What the hell is this?" Kadyn sounded confused as to what was in front of his eyes.

"I don't know man." Dan was equally confused.

Lars was the same as the others, "Me neither, I have no idea."

However, Jack seemed to have an idea, "I think it's like an isekai anime! Everyone, think of opening your status."

All four of them did as their friend said and they saw more screens.

Clearly, each of their statuses were different, and they all needed different things prepared. As they had no way of disputing what was in front of their eyes, they each told each other of their individual statuses and decided it must be real.

They all decided to ditch school and prepare the things that they would need.

The preparations which Jack made were simple as all that he could do was research as many types of magic as he could, as knowledge would help him more than anything. He also tried out a bit of magic, but found it too dangerous to use indoors where he would not be seen.

The preparations which Kadyn made were also easy as he prepared a few large knives and did some training with them to see how good he could get with them.

Dan did not really prepare, and instead just rested all day and ate food that he liked as he did not know when he would next be able to eat them.

Lars prepared by going into the forest. While he was in the forest he picked up all of the insects that he could find and put them into his sandbox world. He also added a few small animals which he found, as well as some animals from the nearby lake. As well as this, he added lumps of material from the ground, plants and small trees as well as water.

After this, he went home and got in bed as he felt it would be the safest place to spectate his sandbox world. When he thought of entering it, his consciousness was taken to a different place entirely and he found himself in an intangible form where he could see an entire planet which was relatively barren.

It had multiple continents on it, with some having very little greenery visible from where he was floating, and others being seemingly entirely covered in vegetation. Around the continents, water enveloped everything much like Earth.

Lars went closer to the continent with the most vegetation to see what was happening on it. He could move at immense speeds and found travelling around easy. He could not see the world rapidly changing and assumed that it only happened when he was not there to see it.

However, he did see a lot of interesting things. The animals which he had put into his sandbox world had evolved an incredible amount with all of them being at least ten times larger than he was and seeming more battle oriented. He assumed this was due to the incredibly long amount of time that the animal species had been in the sandbox world with no intelligent life to ruin their ability to develop. The strongest creatures on this continent were definitely the moths which were larger than any other creature on the continent. They spread poisonous dust to kill their prey while flying over them which was what set them apart from everything else. They all seemed to be insects though which made Lars assume that the other animals were on the more barren continents.

He also noticed that the plant life which was growing was all different than the types that he had put into it. They seemed to have evolved as well with no hinderances such as humans cutting them down or adding pollution to the atmosphere.

After this, he went to the ocean to see what was living in it after the massive evolutions the water creatures should have gone through. However, there was nothing living in it and Lars decided to see if there was anywhere else that they could be living.

On the other side of the planet, there was a huge crater which was bigger than some of the continents which was full of water. Lars inspected it further and found that all of the water creatures which he had added to the world were living in it. He guessed that this was due to the water being fresh water while the sea was salt water.

Much like the insects, the fish which he had put in were absolutely huge and seemed to be significantly more dangerous than their Earth counterparts. The strongest ones seemed to be the frogs though, as they had become immense in size and power. Not only were they huge, they were covered in muscles and had armour-like black plates naturally growing all over their bodies.

Finally, Lars made his way to the barren continent where he found all of the actual animal-like creatures rather than insects, fish or amphibians. Surprisingly, the dominant species seemed to be the rabbit which had become incredibly fast and around as large as a person. Their teeth had also evolved to be much more deadly which they used to kill things quickly and efficiently.

Lars felt that he had seen enough and decided to finish spectating and go to sleep.
