It was calm outside. The sky was clear and the surrounding was dimly lit by the moon.

Samantha was seated on the black couch as she stared at the window blankly. That was how she spent the rest of the day, having a faraway look and drawn in the ocean of thoughts.

Her friend tried to inquire what was happening to her. However, she decided to hide everything from her since no one knew anything about what they did with Alexander behind closed doors, at night.

She felt bad for lying to her friend. 

How could she explain to her that she has been spending the last nights with Alexander? Cuddling and having sex?

She didn't know what they were anymore because they didn't talk about it. They pretended that they did nothing behind closed doors.

Samantha closed her eyes slightly and a sigh escaped her lips. She raised her face and checked the time on the digital wall clock.
