The Promised Day

Opening his eyes once more, Damian stared at the familiar ceiling for a long time with an empty mind.

'It's strange.'

It was hard to say that he was nervous about the outcome of today's assessment, but he really didn't have the best sleep today.

'Am I excited?'

His life for the past month was anything but dull. However, Damian couldn't deny that his adapting mind was starting to miss certain aspects of his Labyrinth Life.

The inconveniences that he wished to solve were all solved, but Damian's mind desired the endlessly flowing adrenaline. Although he wouldn't get to experience that today, the Hunter Assessment was said to be something close to it.

'I should get ready.'

Since the Hunter Association was just a few blocks away from the Ability Assessment Center, Damian still had a bit of time. 

Nonetheless, since he wanted to cool down his nerves, Damian decided to start early so he could take it as easy as possible.
