He turned back swiftly to confirm if what he heard was true.

"All?", Shiro questioned.

"Ah, I meant, it would be better if you carry all the gold with you. There are some thieves among the residents, they might end up stealing from that ship of yours.", he said, changing the topic entirely and introducing the so-called thieves into the picture.

"Is that so…?", Shiro tapped his chin worriedly, of course, he was acting.

"Ah, no need to worry. As you mentioned, I will assign some guards that will protect you."

"I can reassure you that your money won't get stolen.", the leader said.

Shiro, who was putting on a fake smile, knew exactly what the man was scheming.
