Chapter two... New school

FIVE YEARS LATER

"dad, can we talk" Chris said and his dad agreed,

"what's up" wilston asked sitting down and sipping a cup of coffee,

"I want to go to MTS" Chris said and suddenly Terissa, his mother dropped the spoon she was holding and silence filled the room,

"ok"

"I know you will say 'that place is a military school so your experience will be worse that your..." Chris paused,

"did you say ok?" Chris asked,

"yeah, did you" Terissa said and she furiously threw a knife down on a carrot and it cut through the carrot and the chopping board like butter,

"listen, a military school is the best place for him to learn control his emotions and who knows maybe find a way to control you know what" he said as he put his hands toghether immitating a bird which made Terissa chuckle,

"Alright fine, but if i hear anything troublesome..." she said as she walked into her room,

"thanks dad" Chris said as he hugged his father,

"no worries, and hey don't worry about your mother, she can be...,.... Sometimes" he said rolling his finger against his head, suddenly a knew flew lightning fast past Wilston's ear and into the wall then Terissa peeked out with lightning on her body,

"i can be what" she shouted,

"beautiful, i meant beautiful" Wilston nervously chuckled and then Terissa left,

"better get packing, you'll leave in two day" Wilston said and he stood up,

"I'm gonna leave before your mother realize" and then he ran out of the house. Immediately after, Chris started meditating and entered a dark zone,

"oh now you wanna talk" the voice said again and the area changed into a beautiful forest with a particular area burning and the fire shaped like a bird,

"how about we make a deal, as you know you are sealed here so you cant come out" Chris said,

"you trying to stab my wound boy?" it replied and leaned closer signalling for Chris to continue,

"I..."

"counter offer, you break this f*cking seal and I don't tear you inside out" it shouted and suddenly a burst of heat waves came out and hit him causing his focus to break and wake up huffing and panting,

"that bastard" Chris shouted.

Two days passed and it was time for Chris to leave for MTS which stood for Military Training School,

"here's my last gift to you, when you go into your, let's call it Mind space, try to tap into that energy, although it's just a hypothesis but it's worth a try" Wilston said as he fist bumbed Chris and sent him on his way.

  When he got there, there were plenty people probably over hundred chatting around and a familiar face came to greet him,

"Hey Chris, what a coincidence" garry, Chris's friend (with air quotes) greeted him with a handshake. Suddenly everywhere became deep blue and a man wearing military uniform came out,

"hello and welcome to MTS, now we don't have time to chat but everything will be explained to you soon, goodbye" and then he put on a helmet and said,

"and sorry" then an ear piercing sound entered everyones ears and a bright light shone and in under a second, every one dropped.

  Two minutes later,

"wake up boy" the fire bird spoke with a deep voice as Chris woke up in the burning forest in his mind,

"I can't believe my host fell for such a petty trick" he said in dissapointment and Chris woke up,

"oh, we have a strong one" the military man said as he helped Chris stand up,

"two minutes, you must be strong, what did you see?" he asked and Chris stared back with confusion written on his face,

"nothing?" He asked and then walked away to tend to the others.

"listen everyone, wjat happened twenty minutes ago is one of what we call the TEST".
