The President is Married??!

This time around, a transparent case was brought out. "The moon and star is the masterpiece of The Galaxy. It is a set of couples bracelets that represents happiness in both the dark and bright days. They are both made of cullinan diamonds and were crafted by Sir Bones." (Not a real person! But a famous craftsman who was already enjoying retirement).

The moon and star was a one of a kind bracelet that was meant to cause disputes in the upper class. And to make matters worse, only ten pieces were produced, making its price to number into hundreds of millions.

After the moon and star had been unveiled, Levi walked on the stage and stood side by side with Emma before taking the mic.

" The first piece will go to my wife." Levi said causing the hall to go dead silent. And before anyone could register what he had just said, he walked up to the glass case and picked the feminine bracelet, walked back to Emma's side and placed it on her wrist.

Everyone's eyes were bulging in disbelief as they stared at Emma who also had a shocked expression on her face.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED??!!!

"The president is married??" Cynthia was the first to react as she exclaimed with disbelief all over her face.

"Meet my wife... Emma Reigns." Levi said as he lightly placed his hands on Emma's waist. Emma by this time was already red in embarrassment and a mix of shock as she didn't expect Levi to announce their relationship.

Didn't the contract say their marriage was to be kept a secret and shouldn't be exposed to the world?? Why then did he introduce her like this, and on such an occasion?

"Wowwww.. this is big news!! How did we not realize sooner??" The middle-aged man laughed through the mic to ease the atmosphere as people struggled to believe if this was a joke or not.

Levi Reigns who has never been seen with a woman in the past five years or so suddenly came with a woman to his company's products launch. And to top it up, the woman happens to be his wife!! Who dares to believe such a story??

After the product launch, the guests all went to the hotel's restaurant for dinner. Emma was glued to Levi the entire time as they went from one famous figure to another exchanging greetings and congratulations.

Emma soon got tired of standing in her four inch silver heels so Levi took her to a table to rest before walking up to a government official. She was a bit exhausted and her legs were aching so she downed a cold glass of juice from the waiter nearby.

"Emma!"Cynthia called out from behind.

"Director!" Emma greeted her with a smile. Cynthia sat down beside Emma and took a glass of wine from the waiter. "What a surprise! I didn't expect you to be married to the president." Cynthia said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

"Yeah... we decided to keep in on the low..." Emma replied awkwardly. She was already tired of answering such questions as she's been bombarded with the same question all night long.

"Cheers then. To a happy married life." Cynthia said with bitterness and Emma had to drink with her before she left to take care of some business.

Truth be told, Cynthia has always got something for Levi right from when she started working for him. He has always had this cold and hard to get personality that made girls grazy for him and Cynthia was no exemption.

She fell for him the day she began working in OR. That day, she was new to the company so after work, she decided to take a stroll and get familiar with the place. Levi was heading to a family gathering that day and he was in a bad mood so wherever he passed, he would make the employees tremble in fear.

Walking with curiosity on her face, she barged into the angry Levi by mistake and the man just continued walking like he didn't see her. She was left in a trance just staring at his well built back that slowly vanished into the hallway.

Since that day, she vowed to get to the top and prove herself worthy of him. She was only a few steps away from being his plus one for social gatherings but who would have thought a new employee like Emma had already wrapped him around her fingers.

There was nothing she could do now but stare at the couple with envy. But she got to admit though; Emma was in no way less than Levi. Standing side by side with him, she had no fear whatsoever and had the elegance of a heiress. They both make a wonderful couple.

The dinner banquet ended by 10pm and Levi and Emma went home. Their servants only come on Saturday to do a general cleaning round the house so they were the only ones in the big mansion.

Emma headed for her room immediately they got home and took a hot bubble bath. The job of a socialite was definetly not an easy one! She had to walk with Levi and make toast to those who congratulated them. She also had to keep up that pride and confidence of a socialite. It definitely tool a lot from her!

After freshening up, she went downstairs to get water only to barge into a hot heated conversation.

"I'm sorry sir.. we were careless and didn't notice them at the hotel. It won't happen again."
