Ch. 2 Why is He in my Dorm?!

"Wow! This looks incredible," I said as I walked through the parking lot of my new shool.

'The director told me to meet him at the front doors...but where are the ACTUAL front doors?!

'There are like 4 double doors on the front of the shool!!' I thought in defeat.

Evidently, the director saw my anguish and came over to say hi.

He told me where my dorm was and gave me my schedule with the classroom numbers on it.

But I soon see a name I was trying to avoid for years, in my dormmate list.

And, besides anger, confusion settles in, because why in the world would a boy be in my dorm?!

I start to look at my schedule, then back at the director, then at my schedule then back at my director.

This went on for what seemed to be forever.

He finally looked over at my schedule and said casually, " Oh yeah, I heard you knew Siah Effulf, so I put you two in the same dorm. " Even though he had explained, I was still confused as to why a guy was put in my dorm, not why Siah was there!

'Aren't the girls' dorms supposed to be separated from the guys' dorms?? '

When I looked down at the rest of the people in my dorm, I soon realized I was doomed.

...they're all guys...

'Maybe I can make friends with girls outside of my dorm?' I thought.

After that, the director took me on a tour around the school. He said, "All of them are out on the football field. Its because its the first day of school and I wanted them to have a little fun before they met all their teachers. "

I thought that it's nice that he did that for them. 'My teachers back in middle school never did that. ' I thought as we got to the field.

I saw about a thousand guys, but no girls ( I assumed they were somewhere else due to the fact that most girls don't play football 🏈 or basketball🏀with guys).

When we got near the field, the director told me to go sit on the bleachers while he went to grab my HR teacher.

A guy hair was sitting on the sidelines with a helmet (with blond hair sticking out of the front), ready to jump in the game. The coach told him something and then the guy shook his head in disappointment.

But then he took off his helmet, and that's when I recognized him.

I was only sitting on the second to last row of bleachers down when I whispered his name just a little too loud, "...Siah...? "

He turned and said, "Huh? Oh, hey. "

'PHEW! He didn't recognize me.' I thought as I said, " Hiya, I'm your new roommate, Lulu. "

'CRAP! RETREAT!! NAME SAID ALOUD!! BEEP! BEEP! BE-'

"Oh yeah, I was told you'd be my new roommate. I can't quite remember, but you look quite familiar... "

"I...uh...was, um, your best friend... from...uh...5th grade... *gulp*"

We were BFFs up until 5th grade. But after that big fight we had, I tried to apologize to him, but he wouldn't turn around...he just...kept walking...

He said, "Oh, ok. "

At that point my feeling status was at: "confusion and hurt".

I didn't know what to say next but that's when Siah said, " LOOK OUT!! "

As I looked from him to what was coming at me from the right, I felt a bit of pain and then there was complete darkness.
