Ch. 16 Martinus's Point of View

"NOW! " I yelled to Brody, my older senior cousin.

"But she-I-ugh! Martinus!" Brody whined like a child to me.

"Now! She's gonna pass out if you don't..."

'Crap. She already passed out!' I thought as I walked over to Brody.

I broke her from his grasp, and held her for a bit.

She was cold, and I went over to Siah, who was still laying on the bed unconscious. I touched his arm.

Siah was cold too, but much colder than Lulu.

"Brody, take Siah to the infirmary. I'll put Lulu in a blanket on the couch and turn down the A/C."

"Ok, be right back." Brody said, carrying Siah to the door.

"Wait a minute," I said before he could get out of the door. "I'm letting you off easy today, but next time something like this happens to Lulu,

there will be serious consequences."

Brody ran off with Siah, and slammed the door.

'Am I that scary?' I thought to myself.

Halfway down the stairs with Lulu in my arms, I heard her groan, as if she had just been woken up, although she wasn't.

When I got to the couch, I realized there was already a blanket there, as though someone else had been sleeping there.

I set her down and pulled the blanket up over her.

'She looks cute like this, with her hair messed up and her lips parted slightly-WAIT!! WTH AM I SAYING?!' I thought as two of my brain cells fought back and forth, until this one won-> "She's so adorable, I just wanna hold her. I mean she is unconscious and cold, so I could hold her close to keep her warm! "

I picked her up a little and laid her head on my chest.

She snuggled up to me in her sleep.

I stroked her hair, it was black, soft, and wavy.

She smiled a little, and blushed, so I blushed.

'Probably having a good dream now. 😊' I thought to myself.

Seeing her smile and blush was a nice feeling, a feeling better than performing on stage.
