Ch. 14 Waiting for Help

'Now what to do in the meantime...' I thought as I put an ice pack on Siah's forehead. 'He passed out almost straight up when we walked in, so what could've caused it?

'It could've been a smell, but nothing smelled weird when we walked in. Or maybe dehydration made him faint....'

I heard a door open downstairs.

"Thank goodness! 😌 Martinus! Up here! In my room!" I shouted to him.

As I heard the footsteps come up the stairs I quickly realized that it WASN'T Martinus.

Martinus's footsteps are usually quick and light, but these steps were heavy and slow.

I dared not pick up my head as this strange person walked in my room.

I closed my eyes and clung tightly to Siah.

I heard him come closer.

'Crap! I probably forgot to close and lock the door when we came in! '

I finally opened my eyes to see a guy in a black hoodie standing next to my bed.

That's when my self defense skills kicked in. It had been some time, but evidently, I still know how to protect myself.

I pushed Siah off of me, got up, and basically ripped the hood off of this guys head.

Then I realized who I was looking at.

'Oh my gosh! It's that senior!' I thought remembering the time that I accidentally went in his dorm.

He said, "Hold on! I'm here because Mar-"

I didn't wanna hear it, so I kicked him. Yes, kicked. I'm a girl, and like I said, it's been years since I took self defense.

"I remember you! Evil child! How dare you come into a girl's room without (a knocking and (b asking if you could come in!" I said.

"That's the last straw little girl." he said as he walked towards me.

Suddenly, I saw a figure behind him.

"Martinus?!" I said.
