Chapter 5 The Grey Wolf Attacks

Miles looked at the grey wolf with despair and fear in his eyes , the grey wolf had cornered Miles with its sheer power.

' Dammit it is faster and stronger than me , and that flying attack that came from its mouth is way to deadly I have to move with caution. '

The Grey wolf positioned himself to fire another blast , But Miles noticed it and barely dodged it .

Boom

The attack destroyed a good portion of the trees behind Miles , the grey wolf charged at Miles .

It used its claws to Slice miles in his leg.

Slice

" Haahhaaa. "

Miles cried out in pain as the grey wolf sinked its claws in his legs

It did this much damage even though I almost completely dodged it . Guardian what's My HP

' Dammit with just two attack it brought my HP from 5000 down to 2675 , I am not going to let you do all the attacking. '

Miles charged at the wolf

But the wolf simple dodged the attack , And Miles followed up with another attack , before the Wolf could regain his balance Miles charged at the Wolf aiming to slice it's head of.

But Miles sword met nothing but air as the wolf bent down when Miles attacked it's head and pounced on Miles.

But Miles managed to stab the wolf by its side before it could do more damage , the wolf retreated backwards , but it had already achieved its goal , Miles was bleeding from head to toe , and was finding difficult to keep up with the wolf .

' It's that low no wonder I am finding it had to move my body. '

The wolf charged at Miles with killer intent it aimed to kill Miles for all its brothers he had killed.

Miles tried to stand but he could Not stand his body just wouldn't move .

' Come on get up , no this can't be how it ends am I seriously going to die here. '

Just when it seemed as if all hope was lost for Miles .

Miles suddenly felt full of life he could move again .

An influx of information was sent to Miles on how to use the skill .

Immediately Miles said that he felt a feeling of intangibility before he immediately vanished from where he was before , this left the Grey wolf confused but then.

Miles had appeared at the back of the grey wolf and used Enhanced slash , the wolf managed to dodge it but not completely instead of its head it sliced the wolf by it's shoulder

The grey wolf became filled with anger and let out a blood curling howl.

The grey wolf eyes became crimson red , it charged at Miles , but Miles activated the skill void jump and he immediately vanished from the spot he was in.

Miles appeared from above and sliced the wolf .

It should be dead by now how high is its HP

The wolf fired another blast at Miles but with the void jump Miles was simply untouchable, Miles kept vanishing and appearing to attack the wolf. ,finally the wolf was starting to slow down.

The wolf seeing that he could not beat Miles tried to flee but Miles wouldn't let it get away that easily.

Miles sent a barrage of Enhanced slash at the wolf , the wolf fell to the ground dead.

Miles Noticed something shining coming from the grey wolf , it was a stone which looked like a red pebble and had different symbols on it , Miles bent down to pick the weird stone up , immediately he picked it he received a message from the guardian.

Miles tried the skill for 7 minutes before it finally took him home .

" Finally I'm in my bed , who knew the skill will be that hard , it took me 11 failed attempt before it worked, well any way am back home. "

Miles took the sword back to his father's pile of sword .

" I think am strong enough for now I am going to give myself some time to relax before I go back to the forest. "

Miles took a stroll through the village , The villages where doing one thing or another in preparation for the flame parade.

' The village sure is busy , well the flame parade is coming up soon so I guess they are just preparing for the festival. '

Miles attention was caught by two boys talking about the flame parade.

" Am actually looking forward to the contest of strength , I have been practicing really hard for it. '

The two boys kept talking about the flame parade.

' The contest of strength it was my most dreaded event during the flame parade it was where all boys within the same age grade showed their strength by tossing their opponent out of the ring , I would have not participated but unfortunately it was mandatory , and because of that I am usually the first person to be thrown out , but this time it is going to be different because I am 100 times stronger than I was before. ' Miles couldn't help but release a smile on his face.
