Chapter 49 Goblin clash 4

The battle with the goblins had already ended , and although some of the goblins had fled the battle trying to escape the slaughter , but still only a handful managed to escape compared to the thousands of dead goblins on the floor which for a normal human would have made them traumatised , but for trained adventurers even though it wasn't a regularly scene they had been in different battles were dead bodies were left on the battle field so they wherent to disturbed by the sight , and although Miles hadn't been or participated in a massacre like this he was still not disturbed by the sight , which was strange because before having the system he couldn't even kill a boar talkless of massacaring a whole army of goblin , but he guessed it had something to do with the system just like the way he wasn't to bothered by Pain anymore , but even though he wasn't bothered by the sight the smell was another thing entirely .

Goblins had one of the most disgusting rotten and smelly bloods and a whole army of bleeding goblins was offensive to the nose .

" Ewww , this smell is so disgusting " , Layla said trying to cover her nose .

" Finally we are done here " , Bucky said trying to clean his axe which was stained with goblins blood .

" No it isn't over yet the goblin king isn't dead yet , Farhen should have returned by now " , Gilliard said .

" Well doesn't that mean that he is dead " , Glein one of the healers said .

" No if he was dead the goblin king would have returned by now , which can only mean one thing the goblin king is still after him , we have to go help him " , Gilliard turned around heading towards the forest .

" Yes , yes , yes , this power is intoxicating " , Farhen said staring at the crystal in his hand .

Rakh'Ash was almost dead and was bleeding so much that he would have already fainted if not because of his willpower and anger of being beaten with the use of his own treasure .

Another light beam came flying towards Rakh'Ash , but he was to weak to even raise a finger .

The light beam hit him cleanly on his chest making him cough out a mouthful of green blood before falling to the floor .

He was on his last breath and would be dead sooner or later but on his death bed he couldn't help but grieve at the thought that he had disappointed his god , he hadn't even fulfilled the task given to him by his god after he gave him extraordinary power and the crystal .

Looking up at the sky he couldn't help but wish he could be given another chance so he could life up to his god's expectation , and repay him for the power that he was given .

But he knew it was all a pipe dream , he was going to die today and he had already accepted his faith .

Farhen felt on top of the world with the amount of power in his command and he wanted to use it to the fullest because he knew when the mission was over he would have to submit the crystal to the royals .

" So this is what power fills like , hmmm , no wonder those saints where so full of themselves , this power is simply amazing " , Farhen said before turning towards the goblin shaman .

The goblin shaman seeing the human who could overpower the goblin king who he viewed as the chosen one of his god felt like a whole mountain was weighing down on him , the shaman tried to run but before he took three steps he suddenly fell down .

Not knowing what happened to him he stared at his legs only to realize that his right leg had been cleanly cut off without him releasing it , seeing the ghastly sight of his leg the pain finally set in .

" Arrrrrrggggghhhh " .

The shaman continued to scream and grab his non-existent leg while rolling on the ground .

" Oh , just shut up already your voice is so annoying " , Farhen said approaching the still screaming shaman .

The shaman seeing the approaching human started to crawl away from him , but Farhen was already in front of him , he was so scared of the human that he couldn't even move an inch , he just simply stared at the crystal in the hand of the human hoping the crystal would finally come back to him .

He didn't want to die this way by the hand of the human who stole his precious from him and was now using the same weapon to kill him , no , he didn't want to die this way so he tried to pray to his god .

* Please or all powerful one save this pitiful one from this lonely human * , The shaman kept saying as a mantra as he kept bowing .

Farhen seeing this thought the shaman had finally lost it , I mean who would dare worship someone who was about to kill him.

' I didn't know that little act of mine will turn him insane ' , Farhen thought as he looked at the still bowing shaman .

The shaman kept pleading to his god but he received no answer .

* No my God please don't forsake me * , the shaman kept praying more frantically to his god .

' don't worry I'll put you out of your misery ' Farhen said before cutting of the shaman's head .

The headless shaman was about to die but he couldn't help but curse the human in his mind .

Who would have known that this same human who had tried to kill him but had been scared away would finally kill him , if he knew this was going to happen he would have killed him and not allowed him escape , but now the human was using his own weapon to kill him .

The shaman finally took his last breathe , just at the time the Adventurers arrived .

" What the f$uk , happened here " , Gilliard couldn't help but curse has he saw the destruction in front of him and the headless body of the shaman and the almost dead goblin king next to him .

" It's , the crystal sir , I was some how able to connect with it and it boosted my strength to a whole new level and I was able to overpower the goblin king " , Farhen explained .

Gilliard looked at the crystal in Farhen hands before asking .

" How strong per say are you ? " Gilliard asked .

" if I had to guess I'll say the strength of a saint " , Farhen said .

Gilliard was shocked by the increase in strength , the saints where a tier above the holy saints with power towards the S rank , so imagine his surprise when that crystal somehow boosted Farhen's power to that level .

Miles assessed the Might of Farhen just to be sure and was also surprised .

He was far more stronger than before .

While Sen felt threatened due to the gap in power between Farhen and him , his job was to protect Layla but if Farhen suddenly want to pay Layla back for all the bad things she said to him he would be totally powerless to stop it so he proceeded with caution .

While the rest of the team where still amazed by the incident Miles was immediately brought back to reality when he saw the barely breathing goblin king .

Moving towards him Miles got ready to kill him .

" What are you doing Miles ? " , Gilliard asked .

" Am trying to put him out of his misery " , Miles said stabbing his sword into the goblin Kings throat .

Miles vision was assaulted by the barrage of message but he was quickly jolted back to reality when he saw a black substance floating out of the goblin king before flying at unbelievable speed into the sky .

' What the heck was that black gloob ' , Miles thought before checking the other adventurers to see if they saw the same thing but was shocked when he realized from their expression that he was the only one that saw it .

Calming his mind he started to check through the message

Meanwhile somewhere in an unknown location .

A man sat on a throne completely made from a dark unknown material looking at one of his subodinates who came bearing news .

* Speak * , the entity said

* My Lord , the power given to the goblins have been returned * , the bowing figure said .

* Umm so he is dead , well he was a failure anyways he wouldn't have helped his highness plans * The entity spoke .

* but nonetheless I have to report this to his highness * , the entity said before standing from the throne room
