Chapter 1

I have everything I ever wanted. I have a family, friends, even a girlfriend. I go to a good school and I play baseball. My life is great...if it was my life.

My name is Michael Cooper and I'm on the run. I've been on the run my whole life. I dont have a family and I dont have a girlfriend...but my clone does.

Let me start at the beginning. I was cloned at birth and my clone replaced me. I was cloned because the government wanted to kill me. I never learned why. My one friend Dave, the scientist that cloned me, wont tell me why the government is after me.

He recently told me about my clone and I grew curious at the kind of life he had. It took some time to find him but when I did I watched him. I watched him and I saw how lucky he is to go to a school, have a brother, a family, friends, and a girlfriend. He has everything I have ever wanted. He has a normal life.

I've been thinking about switching places with him. Just for a day so he wont miss much. I know when he leaves, when he gets to school, and the classes he goes to. I just need to knock him out for a day to see what a normal life is like.
