First Time Fall In Love And A Tragic Past

"Hanako-san... thank you."

I think she's not anticipating my reaction judging from the shocked look on her face. The slasher smile has turned into a happy smile and her cheeks start getting red. She looks away from me, looks down, and touches both of her cheeks.

I tell her everything she needs to know as to why I thanked her. "Really~?" She asks for confirmation. I nod. Suddenly, she gets up and sprints away, I've got no time to catch her as she runs so fast that even dust is sprinkled out.

I know it's no use catching her, so I let her be and continue to meet the candidate. Ah, I forgot to ask for her phone number. I'm sure she'll be watching my next stream, thus I'm gonna use the opportunity to personally chat with her and continue where we left off. I can't wait anymore.

In the meantime... Hanako is still running with all her might to her home. When she arrives, quickly opens the door with supersonic speed, and goes upstairs while running but with every step she makes, there is no sound that can be heard. It's like there is nothing walking on the stairs. Did she run so fast that she breaks the physique's law?

She gets into her room and quickly closes the door by slamming it with all her power. Finally, she calms down a bit but she's still blushing and her heart can't stop pounding so hard. She quickly snatches a bottle of water on the table and gulps down all of it in three seconds. Even after that, she still can't stop the emotion she's feeling. Her final choice is to jump on the bed, wraps herself in her white blanket, and lay on the bed, preventing herself from making any move. Hence, that's what she did.

While laying, she can't stop thinking about what happened at the park.

"Calm yourself down, Hana-chan! ... ... Kai, I thought that you are like others, forgot their first supporter and having a happy life with their new fans. I thought about unsubscribing you but you show me your nice personality on the streams every time you stream. You're not like others, you're not toxic, and even when you play with your friends, you make sure not to offend them."

"Not just that, I noticed that you talked with your little sister with love, the love of a sibling. *Sobs* I-I'm sorry I called your sister 'b-b*tch', I'm sorry a-about stalking you and following you to k-kidnapped you. *Sobs* I'M SORRY!!!"

She's crying so hard that her mother rushes to check on her. She enters the room and sees her daughter crying. Without any thought, she quickly hugs her and comforts her even though she doesn't know the reason she's crying but as a mother, she has to calm her down first before asking any question.

After a few minutes of comforting, Hanako finally calm down. Her makeup is ruined, she didn't apply too much makeup on her, and thus her face does not become totally ugly. Making sure that her daughter is ready, she asks her why was she crying.

Hanako explains everything to her mother about what happened at the park and her mother listens without interrupting. Finally, she understands everything and tells her that she is happy for her to meet with a person she likes.

"W-wait, w-why do you think I like h-him?" She is fully recovered from the sobbing.

"Honey, I am your mother. Of course, I know. Don't look down on moms' power when it's come to their children. After your dad died, I've taken care of you for more than 10 years, I know your personality and your thinking." She speaks the truth. Her father dies 10 years ago because someone killed him when he was walking on the street on his way back home, holding a box of cake for his daughter.

A thief was running from the polices and he was in the way of the thief, hence he stabs him with a knife and continues running away. One of the polices stopped to check on him and tells people to call an ambulance but it was too late. A lot of blood was out and his skin started to change pale. Even if the ambulance arrived, they got no time before reaching the hospital. With his final breath, he told the police officer to give the cake to his daughter and tell her that he is sorry for not spending time with her.

Respect the man, he granted his final wish. Hanako and her mother were shocked when they heard the news. She was crying so loud, not accepting the news, and hit the officers repeatedly to tell her the truth. He couldn't say anything. Her mother was speechless. It took them a few minutes to fully calm down, the officer offered them to see the man before buried.

Since then, they had to live together, alone, without a man in the house. Her mother found a job that was enough to support their lives.

"B-but I never like someone before. How should I know if I'm truly like him?" Hanako asks, doubting her mother.

"Don't worry, honey. I'll teach you everything you need and judging from what you told me, he seems like a nice guy. I can't wait for the grandchild already!" She starts getting excited with her daughter finds a man she likes.

"M-mom! I don't even know if I like him!"

Her mother's laughing and happy that her Hanako has turned back into her usual self.

Okay, where is she? She says that she promised to meet here but I don't see her anywhere. Did I get the wrong location or something? I need to check it back. I open my phone and re-read the chat between her and me. Everything looks fine and the location she sent is also right. Did she decide to leave after waiting too long? Ugh, I mess up, and it was the first candidate above all.

While I'm looking at my phone, a woman calls me from behind.

"Uh, Mr. Izanagi?"
