First Meeting

The two siblings are having breakfast together at the table. "Are you done with your food? Give me the plate and I gonna wash it after this. Meanwhile, you prepare yourself and we can go to your school." He tells his little sister, Erika.

"Ok kay~ But I can go by myself, ya know. I'm already 12 and it's not like I go alone, Rina's there, too." She assures him while doing a 'face'.

"Exactly my point. You're just 12, walking together with Rina on the sideroad, not protected by some pervert pedo. Nope. Nope by my watch. I'm gonna send you both to school until you become 15, at least." He stands by his point and there is no point in arguing about it. She knows.

"Jeez, okay then, SISCON." She runs to her bedroom right after that and locks the door. "You little b-, sigh... That kid." He holds himself from cursing. He takes a deep breath and exhales. Done with the dish, he grabs his belongings; smartphone, and wallet and calls out to his sister.

"Are you done? We have 20 minutes until the gate closes. I don't want to deal with the guard anymore. That man is a pain in the ass." Looks like he had experience with 'that' guard.

"Just a second. Also, I know. That guard shouldn't be working there. He's something else." She answers in the bedroom, so the voice is being filtered. Then, she goes out of the room in her middle school uniform and carries a backpack on her back. "Done~ Let's go"

They walk out of the house and walk throughout the neighborhood. They have a chat about something in general until they meet Rina waiting for them at the front of her house. Rina is a shy little girl with long black hair. Her eyes are blue like a shining diamond and her height is the same as Erika who is 151cm tall.

"Erika-chan! Oh, h-hi, Kai nii-san." She calls Erika but just realizes that her brother is with her, too. So, she becomes flustered all of sudden. Her cheeks are getting red when she covered her face with her hands.

"Hello, Rina-chan~. Getting red cheeks again? Do you want my bro holds your hand while we walk to school, hmm~?" She loves to tease Rina as she always finds it adorable when Rina blushes. As you might think, Rina has a crush on him since the first time they met and he knows about this, but he also knows that this is just a normal kid crush and eventually, it will disappear on its own.

"Hello, Rina-chan. Sorry if you're waiting too long for us since I and Erika were talked when we come here, so it makes the journey a bit slower." He apologizes while showing a bright smile. Quite cunning he is.

"N-no, it's alright. I j-just went out myself. So, it's n-not too long." She is still blushing and stuttering.

"Enough with beating around the bush, let's go!" Erika slips in to interrupt since they only got 10 minutes more.

They arrive just in time before the guard closes the gate. Both of them walk into school while waving goodbye to him. The guard stares at Erika with perverted looks and does not even notice the presence of Kai.

"Hey, bastard! Don't you dare lay your filthy hands on my little sister!" The guard has given a warning but he simply ignores it and goes into the guard booth. Then, Kai goes back home.

Arrive, go to his room, turn on his computer, and set up everything necessary for streaming. This time, the stream is about him playing a game called Valor, an FPS game with a 5v5 battle. He will play with strangers since his friends are busy. In the lobby, he chooses Scorpion, a character with a poisonous ability. Enter the game, "Any mic? any mic?" are the questions some players ask whenever they log into the game to have a talk or whatever. He asks if there is any player who wants to turn on their mic.

One girl speaks, "Hi, you've got a pretty deep voice. Is that your real voice?" The girl's voice sounds like she is in her '20s and her intonation is mixed with disbelief since she never met anyone that got a naturally deep voice.

"Yeah, it's real. My voice become like this three years ago and I don't know how it happened. So, 'Cutie-pie' huh? You've got some nickname there. That means you're cute, then. Am I right or am I right?" He teases her with a bit of flirting, but he makes sure that it's not so obvious.

"Ooh, thank you. I don't know if I really am, but I'm confident when it comes to my face. Although, your in-game name is also different, 'Bankai', you watch too much anime, I'm afraid." She counters his tease and back with his own fire.

"Hahaha, yeah. I put that as my name because my real name is Kai, so why not just include it? Easy."

"Hahahahaha, you funny. Let's see if your skill in this round whether your skills is as good as your joke or not."

"Challenge accepted!"

...They completely dominate the game with their skills and have not even left a single enemy to anyone. Their teammates feel useless and terrified at the same time. They even call this duo 'Nightmares' and spread it around the video game community. The MVP title is given to Kai with a one-kill difference with Cutie.

"Wow, you not lying when you said that you gonna be MVP in this round. *Clapping hands* Bravo."

"Huh, told you. Hey, since it looks like we'll play another round, how about we change our 'Discussion' number? It'll be easier for us to communicate."

"Okay, here you go, *************. Got it?"

"Yeah, there you are. Send request. Make sure to accept okay? I want to go to the toilet for a minute. Bye."

"Bye." Hmm, this man sounds like a nice guy. Maybe I have a chance with him, or should I get to know him more? Why are you being indecisive all of a sudden, Rena?! I think it's good to know him more, to know his intentions. I don't want to make the same mistake ever again. Enough is enough. She thoughts to herself.
