Brings Back Home

We've finished the food and are ready to pay. She wants to split the bill but I insist since I promise her to become her guide. She waits at the table while I go to the counter to pay. The food cost me about $47, not expensive or cheap, but worth the price.

Then, we go out of the restaurant and get into the car where he was sleeping, waiting for us. As soon as we close the door, he wakes up and asks us about the food which we answer with our genuine reaction especially her. He then asks where to go next, I say to one restaurant where is his favorite place. As he hears that, he instantly asks me to come with us which we agree. So, he drives the car with cheerful action to the place.

When we arrive, he parks the car at the parking space that is available. we all get out of the car and go into the restaurant. Now, you might think that we were just eating not long ago, why would we eat again? Well, I'm not. They both will. She said that she's not full yet maybe because she has a big appetite or a big stomach, but she always looks slim and fit. Did she have a higher metabolism than normal people? Good for her then. About him, he doesn't eat anything after breakfast, so, of course, he gonna be hungry.

I won't explain everything that happens. So, I'll skip to the moment we arrived at my house for the final dishes. We get out of the car, she grabs her things, and I pay him for being our personal driver today. He takes the money and wishes us good night. After he says that, the window is closing and he quickly drives away.

Here we are standing in front of the house, I step ahead first to unlock the door and invite her in. "Woah, what a gentleman." She says. I don't know what part of my actions are gentle.

We're in. I call Erika to come here and meet the guest. While she's on her way, I let her sit on the couch in the living room and put her bags next to it. I go to the kitchen to prepare tea for us, well, her. I use green tea as it is our traditional tea that people here always drink, especially in winter.

While I'm preparing the tea, Erika comes down and asks, "Hey, big bro. Why are you calling me? Do you need something?" Woah, what a rude response! Did I do anything that offended her or something? I'm pretty sure that I leave messages saying that I will not be at home for the rest of the day, leave some money on the counter, leave food in the fridge, and notified her that my friend will come here to spend a night. Did something bad happen to her today?

"Big bro, are you okay? Why're you not answering me?" She waves her hand in front of me, just an inch away from my face. I snap back to reality and see Erika making a confused face when she looks at me. "Ah yes, my friend is here, sitting on the couch right there. She's gonna spend the night here, so could you be a kind sister and help me keep her company while I make dinner for us later? Please?"

She's looking at her for a few seconds before turning back to me and now, she's making another face. A face of disbelief. "So, a 'she', huh? Don't you have male friends or something? I remember back then when you used to hang out with your buddies, where are they? And don't lie to me, I met them when we witnessed the fall of the old shop." Did she suspect that I have something with her? Where is she gets this idea?

"I'll talk about that later. For now, please help me. I'm afraid that she might feel bored waiting for me." I begged her.

She insincerely agree to my request and walk to the living room and sit beside her on the same couch. I can't really make out what she asks her but I hope she doesn't ask or tell her anything bad, especially about me. God, help me.

Erika's POV: I have to agree with big bro's request since he has done so much to me, so I somehow need to pay back and this is one of the ways. I walk to the living room to see myself the woman that manages to make big bro leave the house for the rest of the day.

I greet her and sit beside her. She looks gorgeous, of course she is, all women that big bro met are all gorgeous in their own unique ways like Ayaka-nee san with her Goddess approach, the nurse back at the hospital when I was in there, and Rena-san who has a vibe that I don't know how to describe.

While I was deep inside my mind, she approaches me by asking a few questions like what is my name, my relationship with big bro, etc. Ah, I totally forgot to introduce myself when I suddenly sat next to her. It's considered rude to not introduce yourself first when meeting people you don't know. So, I introduced myself.

She looks amazed by the fact that I am his younger sister and I don't look like what she expected. After knowing the fact, she keeps talking to me like I'm her friend but... what is this feeling? It feels... comfort? Different kinds of comfort when I hang out with Rina-chan. I never had a friend that is much older than me, well, except for Ayaka-nee san. She's nice too, maybe I can befriend her, experience whole different kinds of friendship.

We keep talking for an hour, sharing our stories and interests. In fact, we share the same interest which is food. However, I don't have the same amount of passion as her to the point of making eating food a job. I don't know that we can do that.

As we're talking, big bro asks me to help him prepare the table as the food is almost done. I excuse myself and go to the kitchen to grab a few plates, glasses, and utensils. While I'm grabbing the things, I notice big bro is looking at me with a big grin engraved on his face. Why are you looking at me like that, huh?

"So, how is she? Do you think that she can sleep here for a night?" He asks. Is that why you look at me with that smile? I thought that you gonna ask something like, 'Is she good for me' or something.

Don't you feel attracted to her huh, big bro? Do you even feel attracted to any women you met before? I'd start having second thoughts about helping you get all women you want. What is it that holds you back from pursuing the relationship, big bro? Do you... hide something from me?
