4 CHAPTER 4
The smell of burning incense made him relax. Paitoon has been in the temple since 8am to start his mother's burial rights.
"Nong? Are you okay?"
He looked up and saw a boy about his age, he nodded and continued with his praying.
After he was done he walked out of the temple to get some air.
"Who died?"
He sighed.
"My mother"
"Ohh....i lost my brother, he was 10"
His body tensed. Losing someone that young must have been heart breaking.
"I'm sorry for your loss"
The boy nodded and turned to look at him.
"My name is Gan and you?"
"Paitoon"
Gan nodded before he smiled.
"I assume we're the same age, but since I'm taller you'll call me P'Gan"
He chuckled and agreed nonetheless.
"Okay P'Gan, I'm heading out first"
Gan nodded and watched him walk away, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"P'Gan khraaap" he smiled hearing the small voice, it was his brother.
"What's up?"
"Who was that boy?"
He chuckled.
"A ghost...a friendly ghost"

After school, Phichit and his friends were walking to the parking lot. Earth was busy showing his boyfriend the latest designs he bought from his parent's design studio.
"Okay guys, see you tomorrow "
The couple shared a look again.
"Okay dude, call me when you see my email yeah?" Preed says.
"Mn, later" Phichit waves goodbye getting into the car.
Once the car drove off, Earth turned to his boyfriend.
"Let's follow him"
A yellow helmet was placed on his hands.
"Way ahead of you"
They got on Preed's bike and sped off following Phichit's car in a distance. The further they drove off, the less appealing the neighborhood was.
"What the hell is he doing around here?" Preed asks in shock. They saw the car stop at an old house.
They saw Phichit get off and waited for a few minutes before a short boy came out, his dark curly hair bounced with each step.
"Ohoo he's a cute one" Earth cooed. Preed hummed in agreement. It's not like he didn't want his friend to be in love, he was just shocked that he was gay.

"Did you enjoy the coffee?" Paitoon teased.
"I did actually, it was...sweet"
He nodded with a light blush.
"So what are you doing today?"
"I'm cleaning up the house, my mother's clothes need to be boxed"
"Can I help?"
He shrugged.
"If you want"

"Oi oi oi they're going inside" Earth gasped.
"I can see that babe"
"What do you think they're doing in there?"
"How would i know?"
"Can't we sneak in the back and listen?"
"You're such a pervert"

Phichit looked around the house, it was homey and surprisingly better than the outside.
"Your house is nice"
He smiled.
"Thank you, we tried our best, what do I offer you?"
"Pineapple Juice?"
"Sure, have a seat"
He sat on the couch and let his eyes roam around until he spotted a baby picture of Paitoon, his toothless smile making him chuckle, he looked at the kitchen entrance and secretly took a picture of the framed photo.
"Here is your juice"
"Thank you"
They sat in an awkward silence. Paitoon cleared his throat.
"How was school?"
"Boring, a lot of people thought my coffee cup was from home"
"Oh? Did the teachers make trouble for you?"
He wanted to tell him that in that school they could do whatever they want as long as they kept up the good grades.
"Nah, what about you? Are you returning to school anytime soon?"
Paitoon sighed. If he was to go back to school, where will he get the money for tuition and books?
"I actually resigned....I'm looking for a job"
"Oh? Is everything okay?"
He nodded yet Phichit could tell he was fibbing.
"Paitoon, if you need help i can help"
"I appreciate it....but i want to do things my own this time...i want to experience failure and success....it'll help me in life"
Wow. He was speechless.
"Okay, how about we start packing then"
"Good idea, follow me"
Phichit followed him silently with his eyes roaming around the pictures in the hall. He caught a glimpse of Paitoon's room and he smiled, it was well organized.
"Okay, so the shoes go in the big box and the clothes in the bags, which one do you want?"
"I'll take the shoes" he says smirking. When he receives a smirk back he felt nervous.
"Why are you smirking?"
Paitoon laughed this time, he pointed to a wardrobe and told Phichit to open it.
He gasped when a mountain of shoes flew out of the wooden prison landing before his feet.
"My mother had a shoe problem, goodluck"
He pouted.
"Nong Paitooooon help me naaa"
"Ah, you volunteered though, i should be the one doing the begging"
"Ohooo so you like begging huh?" He says stalking towards him like a lion creeping up to its prey.
"P'Phichit what are you doing?" He says nervously as he took a few steps backwards.
"Making you beg"
He squealed as his body was attacked with tickles, his laughs and pleas to stop making Phichit tickle him some more.
"Stop naaa I'm gonna pee myself"
"Say please"
"P-Please"
Then it went silent, Paitoon breathed heavily as he caught his breath, Phichit was still pinning him on the ground.
Being in such position made Phichit feel warm inside, it felt right. Could it be that he was now falling for this boy?
"P'Phichit"
"Hm?"
"You can get off now"
He smirked and leaned in shocking Paitoon.
"Why would I do that? Do you like being like this?"
He swallowed thickly. His toes curled in anticipation of anything happening between the two of them, he himself was gay but was Phichit the same?
He bit him bottom lip.
"It feels nice but....you shouldn't do this out of pity"
He frowned.
"It's not out of pity....i think....I'm starting to like you....will you let me go after you?"
His eyes widened. Phichit wanted to go after him?
"I....I don't know what to say"
He nodded, saying this during Paitoon's mourning could be overwhelming.
"Take your time but in the meantime....don't push me away, please"
He chewed on his bottom lip.
"O-Okay"
Phichit smiled.
"Now let's start packing"
