Siren

Ari's teeth sank into Zane's left hand, I squeaked again, Zeke slashed at his brothers attacker, his claws digging deep into Ari's flesh. Ari spun his huge body around, knocking Zeke against the wall, Zane was whimpering and whining, he sat down on the ground, holding his hand, he transformed back to his normal state. Ari growled, Zeke was unconcious, causing him to change back as well.

Ari walked up to me slowly, growling. He bit at the chain that held me until it broke. He growled again, his eye's looking deep into my soul, he grabbed the end of the chain in his mouth and began dragging me out of Zeke's room and down the stairs, me dripping blood the whole way. Rai stood at the bottom of the stairs, staring at us as we came down.

"What is that?" She whimpered.

"A true wolf." I answered, her face twisted in fear. Ari growled as we passed her by. He drug me out the front door, where several betas were waiting, weapons in hand.

"Don't! You'll only anger him!" I yelled. The betas had a nice, calming scent this night, it made me feel a bit better, for a short time. I wondered if this was why Zeke kept so many of them around. The betas all backed down, the true wolf alpha was intimidating enough to scare anyone into submission. Ari led me to a silver car in the driveway, he transformed back and opened the back door, shoving me in. Ari got into the driver seat, looking at me in the rearview mirror, his eyes hateful.

"Ari, what's going on?" I asked, my voice quiet and timid.

"Shut up Kara, I couldn't risk leaving you here with him, letting him find out his past." Ari was angry as he spoke, he clenched his teeth and growled.

"Why can't he know his past? You saved him, what's wrong with that?" I asked as Ari started to pull the car away from Zeke's house, Zane was howling out the window from Zeke's room.

"He just can't! Stay out of it, for your own good." Ari's face twisted into a look of disgust. We drove until we had reached the country side, trees surrounded us.

"Ari, am I in trouble?" I whispered, I was starting to feel faint, I was losing a lot of blood from the bite on my back.

"We will see, I am taking you to my Alpha." Ari answered just as I passed out.

"So this is her, the girl you saved back then with Zeke?" I heard a man's deep voice speaking as I started to wake, I felt something tugging on my back. I opened my eyes, I was laying on my side on a table, in what looked like a huge open floor cabin. I felt hands on my back, and something stinging my skin, then the pulling sensation again.

"Yes Alpha." I heard Ari's voice. I looked around, there was Ari on his knees, dripping blood from claw cuts, and his head hanging down. Standing in front of him was an older man with silver hair and bright blue eyes. His eyes reminded me of Zane and Zeke's.

"I told you back then you shouldn't have saved the bitch, now she's your responsibility. Either she joins the pack or you kill her." The older man spoke, he looked over at me, noticing that I was awake.

"Kara is it? I am the pack master to the Shadow Wolves, Alpha Siren. You have a choice, now that you know my son's dirty secrets, you can join our pack and we will protect you, and you us, or Ari here will have to kill you." Siren walked over to me as he spoke, he brushed the hair from my face and smiled, "I hope you pick to join us, so I can make up to you what my son has done." At that moment I heard a door burst open, it sounded as though it were raining outside. A familiar scent hit me like a hammer, it was Zane.

"Father, Alpha, is she alright? Zane's voice came from behind me along with heavy footsteps as he walked closer. I could smell his blood from the wound on his hand.

"She will be, but you won't. I have warned you before to leave your brother alone, you are aiding him in his crimes. You will spend the next month in the pit. She will be with you until she decides her path." Siren spoke angerly at Zane.

"Stitches are finished, she will need to rest a few days, this girl has been through hell." A woman's voice spoke from directly behind me, the tugging and stinging I felt was her giving me stitches. "Zane, I'll fix your hand soon."

"Clyde!" Siren's voice boomed, I let out a whimper, his voice was incredibly intimidating. Another man walked into the room, he smelt of lavender and lily's, he was a beta. This man was average height, well built, had sandy hair, and green eyes.

"Yes Alpha Siren?" He asked.

"Clyde, take Ari to the stable and chain him up, then come back and escort these two to the pit." Siren ordered.

"Yes Alpha." Clyde said with a half bow and walked over to Ari, who willingly got up and walked with him.

I tried to sit up, I felt hands on me trying to help, then as I sat, I finally saw the woman, she was older, like Siren, she had wispy gray hair and hazel eyes, her skin was rough and tan, and she had a beautiful smile.

"Hello dear, I am Helen, the Den Mother as I like to call myself, I am Siren's sister. Please join our pack, it is in your best interest, Zeke will leave you alone if you are part of this pack." She smiled as she helped me to my feet, Siren walked over to me, he was as tall as Zeke, but had more muscle.

"No one will harm you here, the rogue wolf Zeke is untamed and commits unspeakable acts, he will be punished one day." Siren said, as though he we trying to make me feel better.

"Alpha sir, Zeke is damaged, he needs to heal is all. No disrespect sir, but punishing him will make him hurt more, and become more angry." Siren looked surprised at my response, his eyes wide and his body stiff, he began to laugh.

"Yes, I supose he needs help, but he is still committing violent crimes and cannot go unpunished." Siren explained.

Again I heard the door open, the most wonderful scent I had ever smelled filled my nostrils, similar to Zane's musky scent with a hint of cinnamon, this scent was strong like cinnamon and cloves, the footsteps were fast at first, then slowed. I turned my head just as a man approached me, he looked like a younger version of Zane and Zeke. As my bright green eyes met his bright blue eyes, I felt an overwhelming warmth, my heart skipped a few beats, and I almost passed out.

I opened my mouth to speak but the man covered my mouth, and raised his finger to shush me. I looked at Siren, he was busy looking at a letter with his sister, the man's hand fell as quickly as it had risen. Zane looked at us with his mouth dangling open, then realized the silly look on his face and adjusted it.

"Find her some proper attire Ren." Siren spoke as he read the paper in his hand. The man who had covered my mouth answered,

"Yes Alpha." His voice quivered, Siren looked up for a moment, then returned to his reading. Ren ran up some stairs I hadnt noticed before and Zane walked over to me, his eyes wide and fear on his face.

Zane grabbed my hand, he was trembling.

"Don't tell me she's your mate?" Siren's voice was growly, and his face twisted with disgust.

"No Father, she is not. I just feel bad for her is all." Zane answered. Siren smiled and said,

"Good, I thought I was going to have to kill you."
