Ayato, fellow tea drinker

few days later

I took my usual black and gray colored yukata and thought about going outside today for a walk around Inazuma.

"Mom, I'll go outside for a walk." As I said I went outside and walked slowly down the streets looking to the left and right occasionally, 'I am not that often outside, so I think I should go and do something productive today.'

I walked slowly while thinking, 'I have three abilities, space time control, arsenal, skill creation. I should finally try to find out how exactly they work.'

I mumbled as I walked further not so far and sat down on chair while thinking, 'I don't have weapons so not arsenal. I don't think it is time for space time manipulation either, it may be too complicated in short term.'

*slurp*

I looked at sky and said quietly to myself, "skill creation", which lead to me seeing a half transparent panel with a lot of free empty lines which required me to supposedly write information in them.

*slurp*

While examining it I kept hearing a loud slurping noises which kept disturbing me for a while. I looked to the left to see from where this sound comes and saw a boy with shoulder length blue hair drinking a boba tea.

We looked at each other for a few seconds while not saying a word until we both spoke at the same time, "Who are you?"

I didn't say anything and just stared at him until he spoke, "I am Kamisato Ayato, and you?"

I sighed and said, "Fuji..."

Ayato looked at me and laughed a bit, "So you're not very talkative."

I sighed and looked away looking back at transparent window while ignoring Ayato, 'Skill name, description, properties and question whether it is passive or active skill... interesting'

While thinking what skill to make for experiment, Ayato kept talking about random things with me while I ignored him completely, until he said one thing, "do you like tea?"

Immediately without hesitation nor thinking I said reflectively, "Yes, I love it."

He smiled, "Is that so, do you like then boba tea?"

I shook my head in answer, "I prefer just normal tea, but not hot" I answered while still continued thinking about skill

I kept thinking until he said, "Then how about visiting Kamisato estate and drink a tea with me" I looked at him and sighed, "Fine, but not for too long, I will go home near evening, or else mom will worry."

He smiled, "Sure, let's go then." He got up and I followed to do the same but in slow and lazy matter

I followed him while we walked towards Kamisato estate and ignoring most of the things he talked about, 'Skill creation'

I created a skill and after that a mastery popped out, 'So mastery determines how well I can use it, of course it won't be that easy to get something out of nowhere'

I sighed while closing skill window and looking at sky, "Ayato... What do you think is most important thing in fights?"

Ayato looked at me while not expecting such question, "Most important thing in fights?"

I looked at him and nodded, "I think it's speed."

Ayato thought about a bit and understood what I meant, "You mean finishing fight quickly in one move. That's a smart way to think about it. Even if your opponent is a lot stronger than you, still you can use that speed as your advantage and dodge all his attacks while dealing significant damage."

I sighed, 'Again talk too much.'

We both arrived at Kamisato estate and both entered it, I whispered, "Everyone seems mentally crushed...", He sadly nodded, "Recently current head of Kamisato clan tries to do everything to help Kamisato clan but..."

I looked at Ayato, and sighed, "I understand", a droplet of cold sweat ran down my spine, 'I didn't understand a single thing, but looks serious enough.'

We went inside guest room and both sat near table while Ayato ordered for both of us a tea.

I sighed, "I am so bored few last days, as well I read almost every book in mom's publishing house except for those I don't like to read, that I was just thinking if I should go to Sumeru and study at Akademiya in future."

Ayato silently thought to himself, 'Mom's publishing house? There is only one publishing house in whole Inazuma and it is Yae's. Paired with that pink hair of his, means that he's Yae Miko's son...'

After a while ordered tea was here.

Ayato sipped some while I was just slowly blowing on it, "Akademiya you say. It is not a bad choice, but sumeru is very far from here, so traveling will take quite a while for you to get there."

I frowned a bit while sipping tea after him, "But I don't want to live here my whole life in Inazuma, I feel... stagnant? I don't know how to explain, but I just want to go and see the world."

Ayato smiled, "I wish I could do that, but I can't, I will have to take over Kamisato estate and clan in future while dealing with all affairs."

I placed down cup of tea and sighed, "At least I don't have to take over Narukami Shrine in future...or at least I hope so..."

He didn't think much and said, "Being Narukami Shrine's guuji doesn't passes down with ancestry so don't worry about that."

I looked at him silently, 'I spoke too much and he found out everything, again this bad mouth of mine.'

Ayato laughed a bit, "don't look at me like that, I didn't do anything yet."

I sighed and smiled a bit, "You're a bit annoying... but a good friend", He placed cup of tea down, "You too."
