Chapter 5: {Sunday and Monday are Unfun Days}

I have to work 6 hours today. How fun...

It's not that bad, at least I'm not a dishwasher today like on Tuesdays.

I get them thick, yummy, tips.

I guess one of the few ways I can get people to like me is to raise my FAT stat. I just don't want it to be at max though. Because that would mean I would never get a girlfriend, just get friendzoned a billion times.

I work for an hour and only get about 5000 Won in tips. And Then...

A HUMONGOUS PARTY OF 24 COMES!

This. Is. Perfect.

They get like 1000000 Won worth of food.

Hell yeah. They GOTTA get me a big tip...

They gave me a 200000 Won tip. Honestly that's fine.

I try to get all my tips.

I didn't get 95000 Won...

I was 100 Won short today.

But then...

There was 100 Won. Hell yeah.

What's weird is that I start seeing some weird floaty thingies that aren't the usual pop-ups after completion.

I figured that this wouldn't be so bad.

I start walking home.

I cross the street, and this big floaty thingy blocked my side view. I almost got ran over.

"HEY WHAT THE HELL! I ALMOST KILLED YOU!" The pissed off trucker said. Imagine my guts flying across the road from getting killed by a lorry eesh.

My dad had to work late today so I didn't get driven home.

The next day...

Ugh I have school and Dae Zhae Kuaun classes today!

I go to school. I try to run there hoping I would get a redo of the mission. Nope.

I forgot to work on that dream mission again. Eh the skill seems useless anyway.

Then I get probably the worst main mission ever...

{Main Mission 3: Shake Jun's Hand. Reward: +5 CSE +2 INT. Punishment If You Fail: TBD. Time Limit: 1 Day}

Now it tells me if there's a punishment... I gotta shake Jun's hand, dang I'm screwed...

This is a large reward though, so I guess it's worth it. My dad gave me leftover pizza for breakfast again. Hm....

I make it to school without knowing what I should do. I made it early today so I had time to think about it.

I make it to class with absolutely no idea on how I could get the one guy that hates me, to shake my hand.

Then, I remembered today that on Saturday, I gave him my pizza for breakfast, the dude hates lying too. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

I make it to class and get welcomed with, "Hey piggie, ready to get blended into toilet soup today?" Jun asked me.

I hate getting swirlied.

"No, I hate getting swirlied, let's make a deal, I give you my breakfast pizza, and you don't dunk me in the toilet. Let's shake on it!" I ask him. Anything's better than being dunked in the toilet after he peed in there.

"Show me the pizza."

"I have 4 slices of bacon and sausage."

"Dang, I love bacon AND sausage... Okay that's a fair deal. But you'll still get hit and berated. Does that work?"

"Anything's better than a swirly."

"I hate you, but I know a fair deal when I see one. Let's shake on it pig."

We shook on it.

How the hell was it that easy.

Man I feel less like a zombie already.

It's been kind of rough with these floaters. Class is gonna start right now so that's gonna be worse.

History class was like normal, Jun beat me up like usual, then I got to English.

"Hey Hyun! You're not late and stinky for the second school day in a row." Jugyeong and the rest of my friends are the only reason for me to stay in school.

"Hey Jugyeong. I made a deal with Jun thag I give him my breakfast pizza instead of getting dunked in the toilet."

"At least you won't stink anymore."

"That I'm grateful for."

"Oh man the tourney is gonna SUCK. We have no one in our weight class big enough to fight Alita. We drew straws today and I have to fight that girl. SHE'S TWO OF ME HYUN I'M DEAD!" She starts shaking me like crazy, and crying. She's not my best friend, but I'm her best friend. But man she's terrified.

"You actually gotta be kidding me right." I say in my head.

All I could think of is something so cringy.

"There there. I'll buy you a pizza later." I push her head toward my shoulder.

"It's cringy but effective. Thanks dude."

{Main Mission 4: Console Jugyeong. Reward +1 Skill point, +1 FAT (704), +1 CHM (51)}

Class starts and man the floaters are bugging me.

"Are you okay Hyun? You keep moving your head around like you can't read the board." Jugyeong asks.

"I think I'm just tired." I say to her.

"Hyun go to the nurse, you're interrupting class!" Mrs. Lim told me. She's a white lady that was born and raised here in Korea. Hence why my dad is the only foreigner in the area.

I go to the nurse.

"Hey do you have floaters?" Jugyeong noticed that I kept moving my head whenever Mrs. Lim would call on me.

"Why are you coming with me?" I ask her.

"I want to get out of class, I should be in advanced English but they put me in this class. Why do they only have one period with Advanced English?"

"That's the Jugyeong I know."

"Hey I actually cared enough to come hmph!" Jugyeong said in her mind.
