You were just walking down the orphanage streets when you saw a light glowing. Now, you understood that it was Christmas, but there was something strange about it. You could feel it calling your name.

You approach it with caution, with a stick in your hand, and suddenly get sucked in as though if it was a Kamui. A cat then came into the Kamui with you, but left some scratches on your arms, which hurt​​​​​​.

You wake up to find yourself on a bed.

"Oh, Y/n is awake." You hear a voice say.

"Where...am I?" You say, clearly not aware of where you were.

"Oh, it's just that Akari found you unconscious, and she brought you here."

Akari huh? She the one whom you've been reading about.

"Where can I meet her?" You ask

"Go to Naruto Uzumaki. He's the only one who knows where she mostly is."

"Where does he live, now?"

The nurse gives you Naruto's address, and you go out without an excuse.

It takes courage, but you knock on the door, and see a sleepy Naruto there.

"What do you want?" He asks and you simply roll your eyes.

"کیا دکھاوا ہے." You mutter, but Naruto doesn't seem to get you. You said that he was a show off, but in Urdu

"Sorry? I don't understand what you mean."

"Please tell me I can find Akari." You say.

"What business do you have with Aka-chan?"

"I just need to meet her."

"Why?"

"Because I need to."

"Go to the Hyuugas. You'll probably find her there training."

"Thank you very much for your assistance." You say and leave.

You find Akari in a forest, whilst she is training with Neji and Shikamaru.

"Dodge all of Neji's moves."

"I'll try!"

The fight was gruesome, but she was able to dodge some of them.

"Y-you've improved, Nakamura-san." Neji says panting

"Thank you! You have too, Hyuuga-san!"

"You two gonna quit it? I'm already tired because of this."

"It is a real drag!" Akari said with her best Shikamaru voice, making Neji smile.

Shikamaru laughed a little, and then handed Akari a rice ball.

"You should start not skipping your breakfast, lunch and dinner, or else there's a probability that you'll run out of Chakra whilst dealing with one of the genin."

"Thank you for your advice, Nara-san."

You smile, and accidentally step on a twig, which groans, making them aware of your presence.

"Who there?" Neji asked in alarm.

"Oh, never mind you two. It's just Y/n." Akari says, spotting you.

"Who's Y/n? I can't see Y/n. Is Y/n Your imaginary best friend?" Shikamaru said and Akari smacked him on the head.

"Ouch! That hurt!"

"Serves you right. You can't just go on saying that Y/n is my imaginary friend. It offensive, Shitteru Yo!"

You come out, because you don't want to be the reason a conflict starts.

"Hi Y/n." Neji said

"Hi, you must be Neji, right?"

"So Y/n is a real person..." Shikamaru said and Akari folded her arms.

"Akari-san, let's just leave it at that." You say and Akari sighs.

"Fine."

"Thank you, Y/n. You haven't realized which danger you have saved me from."

"It's fine." You say and smile.

"Oh! Haven't introduced y'all yet. Y/n, meet Neji and Shikamaru, and Neji and Shikamaru, meet Y/n." She says giving you all a proper introduction.

"Soo...What were you all doing out here?" You ask dumbfounded.

"You don't know? Christmas is coming. We were just preparing for it." Neji says

"Which team are you a part of, Y/n?" Shikamaru says

"Team 9." You say because you know that since Shikamaru's team was Team 10, you weren't a part of that. Akari was in Team 7, so you were a little higher than her in the number form.

"Oh. I haven't heard of that Team."

"It was selected just a few weeks ago, so you can't blame me for that."

"Oh. Y/n, what's your Team captain's name?"

"Matsu Ishizaki." You say.

"Wow." Neji said.

"Don't you want to train?"

"For what?"

"The Chuunin exams."

Sighing, you roll your sleeves up, which had the cat's scratches. The cat really did save you from it.

"Those look like a cat's scratches." Akari said

"Oh, my teammate just uses the scroll which gives him the ability of a lion."

"Why did your teammate not take you to the hospital, or at least try and heal you?" Shikamaru said

"He has a funeral to attend to, and I just convinced him for 5 minutes of training, but he went ahead and have me 10 minutes instead. When he found out that he was late, he ran, leaving me there. And besides, the Chuunin exams are a little far away, so it's alright."

"My precious kitty!" Akari said picking the cat up.

"I need to go." Neji said

"Same. Choji might be feeling alone."

"Bye Akari, Y/n!" Neji and Shikamaru say before dashing off.

You were now left alone with Akari. Now you could finally thank her for saving your life.

"I like you E/c and Y/h. Where did you get them from?"

"Oh, my E/c and my Y/h? I got my Y/h from my Oka-chan, and my E/c from Otto-chan."

"It must be nice to have parents." Akari said and in tears the inner angel pleads for help and there, in that moment, is a chance to reach in and give the kind of nurture that changes lives forever. It was something that she was feeling right now, but she couldn't express it.

"I'm sorry..."

"You don't have to be. It 's not your fault that they're dead, so don't blame yourself."

"Anyway, wanna do something?"

"Let's go to Naruto's apartment and not make him feel lonely." Akari said and you nod.

Naruto's apartment...

"Sorry I was a little rude earlier, Y/n." Naruto said handing you some ready-made ramen.

"It's fine, I understand because I don't like getting up early in the morning as well." You say.

"So, Naruto, what do you wanna do?"

"Let's play it in the forest!"

"You okay with that, Y/n?" Akari asks and you nod because you ran fast.

"Okay! Finish your Ramen and we're off!" Naruto said and Akari huffed.

At the forest, Naruto was it first, and he ran towards you, but wasn't able to catch you.

"C'mon, Y/n, please?" Naruto says

"Nah, chief. That's just not happening!" You yell and run

"It!" Akari says and touches your back.

"When did you become it?!" You yell running towards Akari.

"Naruto just it me a while ago." She said narrowly dodging your hand.

"Don't me rude!!"

"It me!" Naruto yelled offering you his hand, which you touched, and officially became united.

The rest of the day was spend on playing hide and seek it, it and Ludo and many other games.

"Hey, Y/n, Wanna stay at my apartment?" Akari says to you at the end of the day.

"Yeah sure." You say and at her apartment, you leave a note which said:

Dear Akari,

Thank you so much for taking care of me, treating me as a part of your group. I'll never forget this day of my life

You then woke up, from the dream. It was a really wonderful dream, wasn't it?
