CHAPTER 18 CONFRONTATION

After the party ended, the next day so much letter were sent addressed to me.

I see the nobles is trying to get to me now huh.

"If only I can know what that old man and his bastard son was thinking about."

I slammed myself to the bed. "Ugh! I wish that someone just kidnapped me here and take me far from this Kingdom!" I flung my arms and legs as if I'm throwing a tantrum.

"Be careful what you wish for Yana." A familiar voice is laughing far away from me.

"How the heck did you get here?" I was surprised that Arthur is in my room. "Did you sneak in?"

"Of course, I came from the main gate. I just came here to say my greetings."

"Like I would believe you. By the way is there any news outside...?"

"I'm deeply hurt My lady, Using me as your wings in the outside and you treated me this way, can you take care of me properly." Arthur acted like he was hurt.

"You little." I was ready to throw my pillow but a servant came into my room.

"Lady Yurianna, A guests is waiting for you at the garden we served her some snacks and tea."

"Oh yes, Im coming just a minute." Arthur vanished when my maid came into my room. The window is open so I guess that he jumped or hide somewhere.

After preparing myself, I hurriedly go into the garden where I stood there in awe.

I do remember that Sir Kylus is here to escort me for today that being said I wonder if it is the second time Eliria met him? or is it the first encounter?

No this is the first encounter! I manage to overhear their conversation since I hid just behind this pedestal.

The Novel keeps changing because of my existence so I pretty much doesn't know who Eliria will end up with.

Will it be just like their first encounter in the novel?

"... Sir Cassadeus, I and the Lady have something personal to talk about and it's not for a gentleman like you to hear it so if you please lessen your distance around us. Lady Yurianna will definitely appreciate it ." Eliria was smirking while elegantly sipping the tea.

"The Crown Prince strictly ordered that I must protect his fiance at all cost Lady Flammel." Kylus were grinning from the side of his face.

I can imagine the Spark between the two it's like a battle of a tiger and a ferocious panther.

"Yo, Yana." I nearly jumped from my place and the two of them heard that I was there. Damned this Third lead.

"Oh! Lady Yurianna!" Eliria runs towards me and greeted me with a hug leaving Kylus in his post.

"It seems that you already know Arthur?"

"Him? Yes, Ofcourse he helped me when I was in trouble with some things hehe. " I answered abruptly. There's no way I can disclose my adventure to the Auction House.

Definitely not in the presence of the one who leads the raid in the Auction House. [Kylus]

"She introduced herself as a maid in the Hazzlet Duchy but this is the first time that I found out that she was the actual Lady of the Duchy."

What a pretty cunning liar we have here but I'm glad that he made something quite fast.

"What a small world! Arthur and I were childhood friends when I was at the orphanage. He came with me to escort me for today, We manage to meet when Im lost in the alleys. Im such a fool really."

Eliria is pouting so I held her hand. "No you're not Lady Eliria."

Anyone who thinks that must be punished.

"In that case your lucky to finally reunite with your friend. So let's all have some tea time shall we?"

"Okay!"

I told Mary to guide Arthur and Eliria to the garden where I'm going to held our tea time together.

Eliria seems like she wants to come with me but I signaled Arthur to take Eliria and come to Mary.

"I'll be there in a minute, You two go first."

After talking to Eliria I face Sir Kylus.

"Sir Cassadeus, I hope you don't mind if you rest now since I'll be in my classes after this. Tell the crown prince that the previous conversation is over and I'm going to stand with my decision. You can stop spying me from here on out."

He seems like he was shocked by my sudden change of attitude his eyes were telling me that.

"What is truly your goal Lady Yurianna?" I heard Kylus spoke when I faced my back at him. "Before that, Let me ask this question."

"What is it?"

"There's a certain person I met at a certain place. He looks like exactly like you but he was a man."

Fudge, I was certain he didn't recognize me from that moment I was escaping in the auction.

"I guess he was pretty enough to caught your attention. I didn't know that the young duke of Cassadeus have a taste in men. I myself would like to meet him in the future." I laughed a little to hide my nervousness in his question.

"That's not--"

"Well then a minute has passed so I must excuse myself. Lady Eliria and Mr Arthur is waiting for me in the garden. See you when I see you Sir Cassadeus."

I dismissed Kylus, since I decided to not keep him medling and reporting my day to day life with the Crown Prince.

Though It didn't changed the fact that I will save him from Erether Forest. By the time the monsters were swarming in the Forest I remembered that it was winter season the next year.

I know that the Crown Prince will become jealous of Kylus since he was close to Eliria so he only sends the Cassadeus to subjugate the monsters.

When Sir Kylus's death were heard. Eliria mourned the death of her knight and decided that she herself will use her powers to subjugate the monsters despite all of the opposition of the Crown Prince he let her go and both of them subjugated the monster making Eliria a Saintess of the Kingdom.

Kylus death serves as a character development for Eliria as well as the growing obsession of the Crown Prince towards Eli.

A messed up plot indeed. The author of this book is certainly a tragic lover making me fixed her story line to reach a happy ending.

I enjoyed my tea time together with Eliria and Arthur.

After Arthur messed up my name and called me 'Yana' Eliria pouted and want me to call that too and in exchange I can call her 'Eli'

Who am I to refuse this cute little munchkin of mine! A beautiful angel like Eliria!

Well Arthur is just Arthur.

I escorted the both of them after we've done our tea time.

"Yeah, It's time for the succession classes."
