***ADDIE'S POV***

I was already exhausted. This day had only started a couple of hours ago, but I was almost ready to call it a day. I would have, in fact, if it hadn't been for Nolan. He was the one that wanted to keep going. He insisted that we have the wedding today, as planned.

Yes, he had a point. If we postponed the wedding, chose to get married tomorrow or another day, then we run the risk of fate stepping in once again. And I refused to let fate take this moment from me. 

The ultimate goal was not just to get married, but to move onto the next stage of my life. To take that leap and show the Gods, the Fates, or whoever was in control of the universe, that my life and my destiny were no longer theirs to manipulate.
