Everything had gone black for a bit. I was almost gone, and I knew it. And I wasn't the only one either. Callum had been just as close to death as I had been. We were both shaking hands with the grim reaper, like we were old friends, and he was there to greet us for our next journey in life.

However, neither of us were ready to leave this life just yet. And the others weren't ready for us to leave either. Addie and Juliana had been sobbing and worried about us when they arrived. We both fought against the confines of death. The snarling snares and vines that it'd wrapped us in when it was trying to drag us down with it.

Then the warmth came to us. The heat of their love began to warm us from the inside out. It was the magic of Addie, but I knew it was more than that. Her love for me, the passion and intensity of it acted as the guiding light we needed to leave that darkness, and return to them.
