New Family Member!
"Papa Papa!", Dante was just shocked! Sue's mouth was agape as she was also stunned by this. Sue asked "Did it just speak to you!?, and more importantly did it just say Papa!?" Dante replied calmly " I think it did." Sue asked "You know what that means right? its a superior partner! Wow your so lucky, I'm happy for you!" Sue exclaimed. What was weird about this little spirit fox was that it had already connected its soul to Dante and had already formed a pact with him. Usually you have subdue the beast and then forge a pact with them, it was very rare for a beast to willingly attach itself to a beast tamer, especially a superior beast as they usually have their pride. Dante just stared at the little fox and had the strong urge to pet it, but instead he just picked it up and brought it with him down stairs. As Dante had reached the bottom of the stairs he looked around to find Yue only to realize that she probably left for school already. He then sat down and tried to think of a name for the little guy, as soon as he thought the word guy, the little fox had complained through their spiritual link that it was a girl. Dante :o
He was surprised to learn that it was a girl so he then changed the list of names in his mind. He eventually settled on the name orchid and Orchid had agreed with the name. Once they decided on a name Sue had said that she would go to the market to pick up some food for Dantes new partner. He still had work so he tucked little Orchid into a small Sachel that be brought with him. On his way to work Orchid was resting in the small sachel until she had smelt a weird scent, it was weirdly familiar to her but she didn't know what it was so she ignored it and continued resting. Dante showed up to work and punched in, as he walked in Lin Chu greeted him " Good morning Dante, I have a favor to ask." but he stopped as he noticed the sachel he was wearing. "Dante you know your not supposed to bring in foreign items to the workplace. Dante almost panicked but then realized it was his beast. Dante replied " Oh sorry but I just awakened symbiosis and had made a pact with a beast." Orchid popped her head out and greeted Lin Chu "Hello other human, I hope you will let me stay with Papa!"
Lin Chu had been shocked and then realized that he should treat Dante with respect as he now had a beast, and not just any beast but an intelligent superior beast. "O-oh umm, forgive me I did not realize that this was your partner. I suppose its alright as long as they behave, although I'm sure it's not an issue with a superior beast." Mr. Lin replied respectfully
"Thank you Mr. Lin" Dante replied. He then headed to his work space and the day passed by with Orchid asking many questions about all the things he does and what all the equipment is. Time passed quickly with Orchid and before he knew it, it was time to leave. Dante went to punch out of work and walked out with Orchid poking her head out of the sachel. He was walking home as he suddenly had a sense of deja vu, he looked over and noticed that it was the playground. The scene of the lion played in his mind again, but Orchids small growl alerted him and he looked around and found that the lion was actually there by the playground again. Suddenly He started to panic and wanted to run away but he was rooted by fear. The hellish lion looked around and spotted him, it found its prey.
the lion then started bounding towards him, but Orchid had climbed out of the sachel and growled at the hellish lion, for those who don't know the hellish lion is a platinum ranked beast and is very powerful. The hellish lion wasn't deterred by Orchid at all... that was until Orchid had started to rapidly grow. In less than a second Orchid had grown to be 6 meters tall while the hellish lion was 5 meters tall. Orchid then glared at the lion and howled to the night sky. Orchid had shouted at the lion "I will protect my papa!" Dante during this scene was rooted to the spot in surprise and continued to watch as Orchid engaged with the hellish lion. Orchid had charged towards the lion with an overwhelming killing intent that slowed the hellish lion down to a crawl. Orchid then slashed her long claws toward the lion, which the lion jumped back but was too slow so it still received a deep slash. The hellish lion let out an angry roar that shook the area with its power. The lion glared at Orchid but while it was growling in pain and anger, Orchid had been closing the distance between them and was in front of the lion when it turned its gaze toward her. Orchids mouth was open and filled with an electrified fire that would consume the lion instantly. The lion shrunk back in fear but it was to late, Orchid fired the electric fire and the lion howled in pain and agony as its flesh burned and peeled off of its body. The lions death wasn't quick but by the time it died its body was barely recognizable because it was mostly bones and some scorched insides that were everywhere. Dante was in shock and as he just witnessed Orchid burn a platinum level beast into a steaming pile of flesh and bone. Orchid then went over to the corpse and started digging Into the corpse, after about 5 minutes she found what she was looking for, its energy core. Before Dante could say anything she ate the core of the lion. He stared in shock then quickly called Orchid over, as she bounded towards him she began to shrink back to her normal size and hopped back in the sachel. Dante was shocked again then promptly went home, he had decided to not mention anything about the recent fight to his mother as she would be very worried. He did not want to worry her and he also wanted to keep Orchid a secret from Yue for now. He would introduce Orchid to her later but not today as he was exhausted mentally and physically. Once he reached home he went right to bed and fell asleep. Orchid had climed out of the sachel and crawled onto his lap and also fell asleep peacefully.
