I am so busy staring at this beautiful woman that I completely forgot what she asked me in the first place. I am probably going to look like a fool again but I think I am used to feeling like that around her by now.

"I am sorry Dr. Michaels but what was the question?"

I do not understand why he did not hear the very important question of how he is feeling because he was just moaning about it a few minutes ago. It is clear to me that his mind was somewhere else for the moment.

"I asked if you are in any pain, Captain?"

"Oh, yes. I was just about to ask nurse Ashley for some pain medicine"

"Would you mind if I administer some pain medicine for you?"

"Actually, I would prefer it...I mean it is better...you know, if it is a doctor giving me pain medicine...you know?"
