Feelings

I am walking with the Captain in a wheelchair through the corridors. He just told me that he will always worry about me and I never expected him to say something like that. I will just tell myself that it is the drugs talking and he can not possibly care so much for me yet.

He does not even know me. I could be a very bad person and a lousy girlfriend. But something in his tone of voice makes me think about what he had to say. I look around me wildly making sure that Lucy is nowhere to be found. We finally get to the medical bay and I push him as quickly back to his bed.

I need to get him in his bed before Lucy returns. I help him up and quickly help him back into bed while I remove his brace. I can see that he wince a lot as I move him around and I know that the pain has returned. Once I get him settled in I take the wheelchair back to where it belongs.
