Doubt You

I take a deep breath and then I speak as confidently as possible.

"My fellow soldiers, sailors, and crewmen, and women. We all knew what we signed up for when we decided to join the Navy. We knew that eventually we would have to fight and today is that day..."

I start telling them everything that they need to know and what our plan of action is going to be. Then suddenly my attention is drawn to someone moving in the back. Of course, I immediately know who it is and she did tell me that she will keep an eye on me.

This of course just makes things more difficult for me to concentrate on what I should tell everyone but my eyes can not seem to leave hers. I try to fight the urge to look at her but every time I look away I find myself looking at her again. She just has this way of keeping drawing my attention to her.
