I can hear only my breathing as I listen to Lucy. I can see her mouth moving but I am hearing nothing. I think I am going into a state of panic because of what is going to happen in a couple of hours. I am not only afraid for myself but afraid for the Captain.

I am only now starting to get to know him and I do not want him to get hurt or even die. I do not know how good these soldiers are on the ship but it seems like the Captain has a lot of faith in them. I should probably take the word of the Captain. He does seem to be very good at what he does.

Then I feel someone punching me in the shoulder and it is Emily standing next to me. She is lifting her eyebrows as if I had to know something. I turn to her and whisper.

"What?"

"Didn't you hear?!"

"No, what?"

"Lucy said that it is your responsibility to make sure that everyone has a kit and that you should check their inventory"
