300 years ago, the world was thrown into chaos, monsters appeared from Monoliths that fell from the sky forming portals that lead to another Realm.

The monsters that came from the other side of the Monoliths and left destruction in their wakes.

The Humans tried to fight back but their weapons were rendered useless when facing these monsters.

Within a spam of a month, half of the entire Human populations were dead leaving the other half to hide from this monsters.

The unlucky Humans who did not get the chance to get to the hidden safe havens of the remaining Human Population were food to the monsters.

After what seem like a year, the monsters returned to where they came from through the Monoliths.

Humans thinking that the monsters has left started coming out of their hiding.

They decided to build a large city with a very large and durable wall so tall that they have to shield their eyes from the sun to get a good reading on the wall as a defensive mechanism should in case the monsters decides to attack once again.

They name this new city The United Republic.

10 years later, an abnormal phenomenon occurred where half of the human population awakened diverse abilities, from superhuman strength to elemental control and variety of other abilities.

This people were called the Gifted.

Scientists tried to figure out how these abilities came to be but no matter what they did, no matter the research they made, they could never figure out how the Gifted got their abilities.

The Gifted who were willing to be experimented on stopped aiding the scientists in their as it was not fruitful.

They wanted to figure out how the Gifted got their abilities so that they could help the remaining Human population gain theirs but there is nothing that can be done.

But with the half that gained abilities, they created an academy where the young Gifted could be trained in their abilities, while the adults were offered a training camp to train.

With the passing years, they came to realize that there are difference power level in the abilities of the Gifted, some of the abilities of the Gifted were weaker compared to other Gifteds, so they created a power level to categorize the level of a Gifted and they are;

-Beta Level

-Delta Level

-Gamma Level

-Alpha Level

-Omega Level

-Zeta Level

Being a Beta Level Gifted does not make one weaker than a Delta Level Gifted, most Beta Level Gifted can even face off against a Gamma Level Gifted and come out victorious as long as they make use of their ability very well but when it comes to the upper three Levels, they are in an entire whole new level on their own.

An Alpha Level Gifteds have abilities that defy the natural laws of physics and the understanding of realities.

Gifteds with Alpha, Omega and Zeta Level abilities are extremely rare with Alphas being 20 in numbers and Omegas being a total of 3 in mumblers and only one Zeta Level Gifted in the entire Human population.

The Hierarchy of The United Republic changed with the appearance of the Gifteds, one of the Omega Level Gifted became the Sovereign Leader of the United Republic.

Under this rule, The United Republic began preparing for the second invasion of monsters as they were not fools to think that they are now at peace when the Monoliths were still activated.

And just like they predicted, another Monster attack occurred but this time they were ready and stronger than before.

With their new abilities, they managed to repel the monsters back and also started going into these Monoliths to see what was on the other side and what they saw left them stunted.

They saw all manner of rocks filled with some foreign energy.

And that's how they started the Monoliths diving, killing the monsters inside and mining the rocks and mining minerals from the Monoliths, as they found out how it was beneficial to them.

With the new resources, science advance and what was a dream for the Humans became a reality,, they advanced so much within a spam of time, taking them to the futuristic age.

That's how the United Republic became a metropolis for both Humans and Gifted, the Humans last line of defense.

"We thought that was the end of the monster invasions but we did not anticipate their arrivals" said a man with brown eyes and a deep green eyes with a round below average face as he addresses a class filled with students around the age of 16-17 "the Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies, Orcs, Elves and so many other creatures we know of today, they came and inhabited the wastelands turning it into a city befitting them without even taking our consent thus this spark another war but this time we were not at disadvantage neither were we getting the upper hand until he came, the Legend, Ancestor and Founder of the Great Norman Family, Jace Norman I, not you"

The entire class burst out laughing as they turned in the direction their instructor looked at when he said that.

A man with white hairs, frail sickly body sitting down at the back of the class as he looked at everyone laughing at him.

He did not care about it as it was a normal routine for them to make jokes of him.

He was the clown of the class, the laughing stock, even though he came from the most prestigious family of the United Republic, he has never enjoyed that privilege.

He is a non-gifted but that was not what made everyone mock him or anything, no, it was not that, it was because of his Health Challenges.

Ever since he was born, he was frail and weak looking pale boy, even his mother abandoned him when he was just a month old.

His father has tried everything he could do to help his son have a Healthy life but even with the advance Technology, there was no hope for him.

He was a lost cost, so his family disregarded him as such making the rest of the world treat him like the waste he was.

He is Jace Norman the second, descendant of the great Jace Norman the first who put made sure Humans still have a say on their Planet and he is not going to let this sickness defeat him or succumb to the mockery of everyone around him.

He is going to live by his father who believes in him, who believes there is a way for him to become Healthy and make a legend for himself.
