Chapter 27 - Unexpected Visitor (Edited)

Feeling relieved from his burning desire, Gon's mind now calmed down. He checks his lust energy, realizing he now has over 1000.

With this, Gon realizes it's time for him to choose a new book to enter. Even though he cannot believe the system fully, their fate is intertwined. 

This makes Gon believe the danger system is true. It's not like he will discard the system if he has the choice. 

With it, he met with Merlin. He then looks at Hana deeply, sleeping on his side.

He stroked her hair gently, feeling conflicted. 

She stays all day on his side, and even with her tired mind and body, she sacrifices her virginity for him.

'I never realized she had such strong feelings for me, and I feel she tells me why, but it's weird I don't seem to remember parts of our conversation,' Gon's tough.

Gon gently caresses her face, her cheek, and her nose. He then put his thumb on her chapped, Rossy lips. A pang of guilt and pain breaks his heart.

Gon makes sure his movement is subtle to not awaken her. "I'm Sorry, Merlin. I've chosen someone without telling you. But I cannot leave her after all of these."

His heart was warm, remembering Hana's affection for him.

He then checked her status.

Reading the status, Gon feels puzzled; the loyalty isn't maxed out despite how much Hana did for her.

As he thinks about this, Gon feels this is because of what happened in the school, making Hana doubt how he feels about her.

Gon sighed, knowing it was his fault. He then closed his eyes, connecting with his mana. 

He starts using it to encase Hana's body, making sure she can sleep soundly as he wants to clean everything up.

Carefully, he stood up, seeing the mess he needed to clean. Gon then realized he needed to change the sheet, too.

Looking at Hana, still deep in sleep, already encased with his Mana. Gon starts manipulating it to make her float slightly above the bed.

Gon could feel his Mana start depleting quickly; knowing he could not keep this for long, he swiftly changed the sheet. 

After it finished, he lay her down on the bed again, then put a blanket on top of her naked body. 

He then took Hana's uniform and lingerie, with all the used sheets and bedding in the washing machine.

'Wrrrr…'

As he waited for the washing to be done, Gon leaned against the wall, his mind busy thinking what he should do.

'In order to gain strength quickly, what should I look for? Cultivation would be a laboriously slow journey, the same as this mana I've gotten from Merlin.' 

'Maybe I should look for a strong weapon that I can bring back to my own world.' 

Gon starts thinking about what kind of power he needs now to make sure he can get strong quickly. 

As he closes his eyes, remembering all the books he has read, trying to choose the best option, a loud sound reaches his ears.

Ding-Dong!

Hearing the doorbell surprised Gon; he had no idea who was coming. They rarely got visitors except for couriers delivering packages and mail.

Gon wants to open the door but stops, realizing he's still naked now. He starts wearing some casual clothes and then opens the door.

Ms. Feli, with a gentle expression on her face, stood there holding bags seemingly filled with food. 

Her eyes met Gon's, and her smile widened slightly, "You seem better now, Gon."

Seeing Ms Feli coming to his home surprised him. "Hello, Ms. Feli. What brings you here?"

"You seemed sick yesterday, and you skipped school today." 

"I was worried, so I contacted your mom, and she gave me your address." 

"I wanted to check on you. May I come in?"

Listening to Ms. Feli's explanation, Gon thinks that makes sense. But a sudden tough came to him. 'How did Hana find out where I live?' 

He shook his head, knowing it was not time to think about it. "Sure, come in, Ms. Feli."

As she stepped inside and bent down to remove her shoes, a curiosity arose within Gon. He uses his 'Discerning Eyes.'

Reading the information, Gon's body freezes. His mind churned, but he remembered Ms. Feli never acted weird.

'System, what's happening with her stats? Why are they all question marks?' 

[Didn't you read the skill description properly, Gon? You can't check the stats of individuals stronger than you.] 

Reading what System says, Gon looks deeply at Ms. Feli. He doesn't feel any danger coming from her.

His memory then ran back, trying to remember every encounter he had with her. Nothing is weird. He has known Ms. Feli for almost 3 years.

Reading The System message, Gon starts imagining the idea if he tries to get her, how would she do it?

He got Merlin after asking for Excalibur. He got Hana after he forced himself on her because of his uncontrollable desire.

The moment he imagined what happened with Hana. Happened with Ms. Feli instead. A cold sweat started appearing on his forehead. 

As he feels his life would be in danger. If he ever does that.

'System, are you trying to get me killed? I am very lucky I got the 'Unscrupulous' title.' 

[Hehehe, Gon, if you think of adding her to your harem in the same manner you've approached others, death would indeed be a likely outcome.] 

Seeing Gon gazing at her deeply, Ms. Feli feels weird. "Is there something on my face? Why do you look at me like that?" 

Hearing what she said, Gon returned to reality. 

He tries to put the information in the back of his mind and think about it later. "Um, no, it's nothing, Ms. Feli." 

Gon then gestured for her to come in. 

With a hint of warmth in her voice, Ms. Feli said, "I hope you're alright with onions, as I've prepared some onion porridge for you. They say it's good for those who are sick."

As they walk inside, Gon replies. "I'm perfectly fine with onions, Ms. Feli, thank you."

He then brings her towards the dining table while pulling out a chair.

"You sit there. Let me prepare the food for you. I hope you don't mind if I use your kitchen?" 

"Of course, and thank you, Ms. Feli. Please feel free to use the kitchen." Gon replied.

Ms Feli began removing various pans and utensils from the cabinets. She then ignites the stove and starts heating the porridge. 

Checking out Gon's refrigerator, she selectively pulled out assorted vegetables and a bit of meat as she asked. "What exactly happened yesterday, Gon?"

"Um, I don't know, I just suddenly feel a painful headache." Gon quickly made up a reason since he could not tell her what really happened.

Hearing Gon's nonchalant reply, Ms. Feli frowned. "That doesn't seem like a normal headache. Have you gone to the doctor?"

Hearing Ms. Feli's Suggestion, Gon quickly rejects it. He worries about what will happen if he really goes to a doctor.

"No, there was no need for that. I feel better now after having a good sleep."

Hearing Gon making his sickness like a small problem makes Ms. Feli's eyes sharpen. She then refocused on handling the various ingredients.

"That is not enough, Gon. After our meal, I will bring you to the hospital. Don't underestimate a headache."

Gon felt warm under her care, but he really didn't want to go to the hospital. 

He is not a normal human now; he has a mana core. "I am really all right, Miss Feli."

Ms. Feli stops what she is doing; she looks at Gon, folding her arm, and her eyes become stern.

"Alright, if you're insistent on not seeing a doctor, I'll have to bar your access to the library."

Hearing her ultimatum, Gon was taken aback. He needs the library now more than ever. Otherwise, his choice of books is very limited. "You can't do that!"

But Ms. Feli is adamant about this. She is very worried about Gon. 

With all the years she has known him, he never acts like that. "Then agree to visit the doctor."

Gon sat there, his mouth slightly agape, rendered speechless by Ms. Feli's ultimatum. He'd never seen this side of her.

Seeing Gon still not answer, Ms Feli thinks it's because of some problem.

"Don't worry about the money. I will pay for it. Just get yourself thoroughly checked. I won't accept no for an answer, Gon."

Gon's mind raced; he really didn't want to go to the hospital, not just because of Mana Core but also because he didn't want to leave Hana alone.

"But Ms. Feli, that's your money. I can't use it."

"So, what will it be, Gon? No more access to the library or a trip to the hospital?"

"Ms. Feli, why are you so insistent about me visiting a doctor? I've already told you I'm perfectly fine!"

"And why are you so adamantly against it, Gon? This isn't like you. Are you hiding something?"

Then, soft footsteps come from the stairwell. Hana, hiding her body only with a blanket, descended the staircase. 

"Gon, do you cook something?"

She just woke up. When she sees Gon is nowhere to be seen, and her clothes are also missing, she comes out of the room, hiding her body with a blanket.

Smelling a delicious aroma, Hana thinks Gon is making something for her; this makes her heart warm.

His eyes were still asleep as she went down; she blinked, looking at Gon, seated at the dining table, and Ms. Feli cooking in the kitchen.

Seeing Ms. Feli, her mind quickly jolted fully awake. She screamed. "Kyaa…!!!"

Hana then quickly ran back up the stairs, her face red as a tomato, feeling embarrassed with what she had just done.

Seeing Hana in his home, Ms. Feli had some idea what had happened. Her eyes look sternly at Gon.
